Former footballer and ITV World Cup pundit Ian Wright has returned home from Brazil after thieves broke in to his North-West London home and threatened his wife and young children at knifepoint.

A blade was held at his wife Nancy’s throat, while his children were threatened with having their fingers cut off, during the robbery on Wednesday night at the family’s home in St John’s Wood, north-west London.
Both mother and children are thought to have been separated in different rooms during the burglary.
The gang are understood to have made off with cash and jewellery.
A Scotland Yard spokesman said:
‘We are investigating an aggravated burglary at an address in north-west London after we were called at 9.20 last night.
‘Personal possessions were stolen. The suspects are described as four black men aged between 18 and 25, with London accents, wearing dark clothing and hoodies obscuring their faces.’
Wright tweeted last night:
Chances are the thieving scum bags had been watching the house for some time.
I have a feeling that the police will haul them in soon.

Complete scum bags. I really the individuals responsible for this are caught and exposed. Must have been a terrifying experience for his wife and children, complete cowards. Just pleased to know no one was harmed.
On another note and I know I’ll probably get some heat for saying this, but I needs to be said. His wife is a monstrosity. Yeah I said it. Couldn’t this nationally celebrated former footballer do any better. Good god! I can some what understand why they screamed ‘kill her!’ when I saw her face.
