DJ Robbo Ranx will take Dancehall music to Glastonbury this summer.
Ranx will be spearheading an incredible array of events which will showcase Dancehall at it’s finest. Last week it was announced that BBC 1xtra had axed the DJ’s radio show.
In a statement Robbo said:
“I have had an incredible time on BBC Radio as I have been part of building an amazing platform for the music I love. I have many unfulfilled aspirations and challenges for the music and how it is played, portrayed and promoted and through my forthcoming broadcast ventures along with other avenues I intend to develop them. There are so many positive possibilities for my music that it makes the journey ahead an exciting one.”
He will leave the station in September 2014.
