Khali Best who plays Dexter Hartman in the BBC soap Eastenders has been suspended from the show for 3 months.
The 26-year-old actor will take a leave of absence from the show as punishment for ‘bad behaviour backstage and outside of work’.
A BBC spokesperson said:
‘Khali Best has been suspended from EastEnders for three months. We will not comment any further on this matter.’
Khali joined the show in 2013 and won Best Newcomer at the National Television Awards earlier this year.
*Shaking my head*
It was all good back in January.
What did you do Khali? What did you do?
He hasn’t had a decent storyline in Eastenders for some time now. Lately his character has been reduced to saying a few lines while sitting in the Queen Vic, sipping on shandy.
This is usually a sign that a black character is about to be written out of the show soon.
