Yesterday it was revealed that Stuart Grant stole a 21-year-old woman’s internet photographs to use on a dating website and then sent out naked pictures of other women pretending to be her. Click here to read all about it.
Today Grant stepped down from his post as Capital Xtra’s (formally Choice FM) senior producer after the story hit the national press.

Capital XTRA Senior Producer Stuart Grant has left the station with immediate effect, after an incident which has hit the national newspapers.
Stuart has been with Global Radio for a number of years, as Programme Controller of Heart Surrey and Sussex before joining Choice in FM in 2010 as Managing Editor.
In a statement he said: “I am incredibly sorry for my actions. I am ashamed, and understand that I’ve caused upset and therefore apologise unreservedly.”
Global Radio would not comment on personal matters but RadioToday has seen an email delivered to staff yesterday from Capital Managing Editor Robert D’Ovidio: “Stuart was integral to the launch of Capital XTRA and I’d personally like to thank him for his unquestionable commitment to the brand.”
This news has actually surprised me. I didn’t think Stuart would end up losing his job over his weird antics. I thought Global were just going to issue him with a warning and then sweep the incident under the carpet.
How wrong was I?
