Last month the Jamaica Patty Co. launched in London’s Covent Garden.
In an interview with Big Hospitality its Jamaican born founder Theresa Roberts said:
Everybody in Jamaica enjoys a patty. We want to bring this product to the UK market in an authentic branded way. There is a huge amount of room to grow this business in London and the UK. Nobody’s ever sold Jamaican food like this in a branded way, so we absolutely want to expand.
As soon as the first site’s settled we want to push the expansion button to get this rolled out . We want to take the Jamaica Patty Co. all over Britain.

Looking forward to checking this place out. And it’s authentic, in comparison to ‘Dub Jam’ – a jerk BBQ rum shack “concept” from the Big Hospitality article

That was probably her husband
