VIDEO: UK NEWS – THE FAMILY OF CHERRY GROCE DEMAND JUSTICE!

CherryGroce

Dorothy ‘Cherry’ Groce was shot and paralysed from the waist down after armed police raided her home looking for her son. This incident sparked the 1985 Brixton riots .

After 30 years the Metropolitan police has grudgingly apologised to the family of Cherry Groce for the shooting.

Due to the injuries sustained at the hands of an armed policeman, doctors gave the mother of six 10 years to live. Cherry lived for 26 years and died in 2011. Official documents show that pathologists believe the shooting contributed to her death.

An inquest in to Cherry’s death will be held in June but her family has been refused funds (legal aid) to be represented at the inquest on the grounds “there are no new issues”.

The decision has forced the family to start an online petition fighting for legal aid which will allow for a fair inquest.

This is just heartbreaking. The Metropolitan police are just pure evil.

The struggle still continues and anyone who thinks any differently is a fool.

Rest In Peace Cherry Groce.

  1. Thanks for the link, i will sign up.

What would be nice is for some of these “rich” footballers, musicians or entertainers to put their hands in their pocket and help out if this legal aid bid fails. But i guess that would be wishful thinking.

  2. Unpopular comment no:2 we all knew during that period how evil the police and establishment were, this being the case what responsibility did the son have in all of this,he was hardly a saint and was his deeds that brought babylon to his mothers home all guns blazing, what did he truly expect was going to happen?
