A man smashed a champagne bottle into a woman’s face, shattering her jaw and teeth, when she refused to dance with him in a Cambridge nightclub.
Monique Henville, 19, was the victim of a “shocking and unprovoked attack” in Ballare on 20 July at about 01:45 BST, Cambridgeshire Police said.
Officers believe her assailant may be from the Hertfordshire area.
They have released an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the attack. Continue Reading….
You have to be one hell of a low life bitch of a man to smash a woman’s face open with a champagne because she  refuses to dance with you.
I hope the police catch the scum bag responsible.

Admittedly before posting this story I did some ‘research’ on her yesterday and she has received media attention before. I am guessing this is the same girl. There can’t be that many Monique Henville’s living in Cambridge.

As horrific as this assult was, it does not surprise me in the slightest. As a teenager i often visited nightclubs that attracted urban kids. Many of the BOYS in these clubs paraded around like they were ‘Britain’s next top rap star’ and felt that women were obligated to talk to them. Refusal often lead to their already fragile egos being dented further and would result in females being verbally and physically abused.
It is absolutely disgusting and stopped me from visiting such places. I would recommend that teenagers find something better to do with their time than to put themselves into an environment that has gone from being fun to extremely dangerous.
Hmmmm, Jan I’m not saying he didn’t do, i’m saying is that the real reason for the attack? I’m guessing the fuss from her original injury has died down by now… Being a victim gets you lots of attention.
Jesus Melissa, victim blaming much? Please tell me, what do you think the ‘real reason’ for the attack could be? What reason in your opinion would make it acceptable/ understandable for this man to do what he did. Doesn’t matter if she told him to fuck off, she didn’t deserve to have her jaw smashed by a bottle. Also, what has her being a victim in a hit and run and suffering in a coma when she was 14 got to do with this incident? Bad things can happen to the same person mpre than once you know. Seriously, clutching at straws to suggest the two incidents are related. Disgusting.
