When he was 15-years-old Jamal Edwards started filming his friends on a camera he was given for Christmas.
By 22 he had got his own broadcasting company worth £8 million and a place on the Sunday Times rich list.
Jamal who has just published his first book, told BBC Breakfast that his success is down to the fact that he was consistent and had a niche.
“There’s probably a thousand other people who are filming as well but i did it in a different way…I never got complacent,” he said.

Congratulations to him. I hope he keeps up the good work. I’m sure he will.
Take note Charles Nunoo, this is what it looks like when a young person wants to show his success. No Suitcase, no sticking out tongues, in the BBC Studio and not a toilet in sight.
Big up to Jamal Edwards.
@Cameron
I agree!
Charles Nunoo needs an intervention.
@Cameron lol you’re right! and @Janice I co-sign that!
@cameron…exactly. When i read this story i thought the same thing. Jamal probably has a Coutts account and doesn’t walk around with a ridiculous amount of money claiming he earned it in 24 hours.
Well done to him
