Rapper Mike GLC talking to reporters outside police station earlier this week
35 year old rapper Mike GLC’s profile went up a notch last weekend after tabloid rag The Sun exposed him and his good friend 24 year old N-Dubz star and former X-Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos in an “alleged” drugs sting (CLICK HERE) and (CLICK HERE).
Tulisa, who is currently hiding out in her rented £6 million mansion and Mike have both been released on bail.
Since then their fans and fellow artists have come out in support to protest their innocence and have even gone as far as to blame The Sun (who after Levenson are back on their exposé grind) of “snitching” and “entrapment”.
And now one fan proclaims “Mike GLC is the founder of UK Hip Hop”.

People have got way too much time on their hands defending these damn fools who don’t even know their first name. It seems like Tulisa isn’t the only one who wants to be seen as ‘down’ thinking it’s normal behaviour to defend blatant criminals. It was there blatantly on tape and people still think these fools are innocent, talking about a chopped and edited video. Never have and never will I defend or support bad breed behaviour. Good luck to the pair of them. I hope they both reap what they sow.

she hasn’t arrived from some next planet, what she means is ‘founder of UK Hip-Hop’ for this particular generation, not for ones born in the 60s or 70s, this generation here.
He has grafted (for people that don’t know, go do some research, features in Time Out London, Guardian, I-DJ amongst others).
Despite features in this publications, this history, the history of Mike GLC is more underground hip-hop. There for the undiscerning person whose not schooled hip-hop, what are you going to know? Not much…
And regarding the Sun’s antics, ‘The News of the World’ by Peter Burgen is an excellent read to get a better understanding of that world before readers assume everything they wrote is kosha (made up pictures using photoshop e.g. soldiers abusing civilians in Iraq amongst others).
Many a time, they have sent the Met on a wild goose chase, wasting public money and police time. I would take anything they have to say with a big ‘pinch of salt’.
