STEPHEN LAWRENCE: 20 YEARS ON – REST IN PEACE

Today marks the 20th anniversary of black teenager Stephen Lawrence’s death. Stephen (18) was stabbed to death in an unprovoked racist attack in 1993 while he waited at a bus stop with friend Duwayne Brooks in Eltham, South East London. After YEARS of fighting for justice Doreen and Neville Lawrence finally saw two of Stephen’s killers Gary Dobson and David Norris convicted of his murder in January 2012.
