Michael Jackson lookalike Keith Preddie
The Voice reports that Michael Jackson lookalike/impersonator Keith Preddie has admitted to assaulting his wife Emma after she purchased a Christmas present for his mother.
Preddie who won GMTV’s ‘Dad of the Year’ in 2010 and later appeared on the channel 4 show Come Dine With Me admitted one count of assault at Croydon Magistrates Court on Tuesday (March 19).
The argument took place when Preddie returned home late at around 9.45pm after spending the day searching for a gift for his mother, the court heard. Once he learned his wife had already purchased a present for her, he lost his temper.
He then hurled a washing frame in her general direction, missing his spouse by about a foot. His wife, Emma, told him to him to “calm down and grow up”, prosecutor Louise Thomas told magistrates.
Preddie then left the room.
“After a short period he re-entered the room and started shouting again”, Thomas said.
“He threw a plastic step at Mrs Preddie, hitting her on her left arm. She was pinned down against the sofa. She shouted, ‘Get off me, leave me alone’ and he let go and she left the room.”
Well it sounds like Preddie will soon be spending his days and nights at Her Majesty’s Pleasure moon walking to his jail cell.
