A roller skating star who performed in front of millions at the London Olympics opening ceremony has been jailed after having sex with a 14-year-old fan in a car park.
Nathan Wright, described by a judge as a ‘role model for young people’, was first contacted by the schoolgirl through YouTube after she had seen one of his skating clips.
The pair then began to message each other regularly, with the teenage victim ‘flattered’ by Wright’s interest in her.
Edna Leonard, prosecuting, said it was clear from the start of their contact that the girl was only 14.
Derby Crown Court was told Wright, 26, of Tooting, London, went on to persuade the teenager to carry out a sex act on a webcam before he filmed himself performing a sex act and sent a recording to her.

A role model for who? Also I am going to catch a lot flack for what I am going to say but although I find him disgusting, nowadays (especially girls in the UK) 12-15 years old are not as innocent like people make them to be #justsaying
@Nubiahbella I agree with you totally. He should be locked away no doubt, because he regardless of if she wanted it or not, he should know better, but yeh 14 and 15 years olds aren’t as innocent as people make them out to be. I remember the girls when I was 14 they defintely weren’t innocent, but as a 26 year old man, come on now, and then to film it as well. I swear some people are literally brain dead.
Under 18s with internet access need to be monitored.

Can we all agree that the kids need to be LEFT ALONE!! What is with people?? It just sickens me to my stomach when I read stories like this!!
It sickens me when the young girls always seems to be the focus of the blame…hence why more and stories like this keep happening in our community. Young black men are constantly mollycoddled and not told that their behaviour is wrong and abhorrent.
It’s the mothers that are mollycoddling the young black boys and not telling them their behaviour is wrong. Teenagers aren’t as inncoccent as people like to think, full stop and the media definitely doesn’t mollycoddle young black boys.
