Shadow and Act reports that British actor and Homeland star David Harewood has signed on to co-star in the CBS CIA-set pilot Anatomy of Violence, written and produced by Homeland writers and producers Howard Gordon, Alex Cary and Alex Gansawhich.
According to the website Anatomy of Violence will centre around” a criminal psychologist (Dr Raines) with an expertise in sociopaths who partners with a young female detective with whom he shares a conflicted past.”
Harewood will play Alejo, the special agent in charge, a respected profiler and Raines’ boss and friend.

I wonder if African-American actors are saying, “these black British actors.. coming over here… taking our jobs…”.

It is not surprising that the black U.K actors are running across the pond with a swiftness. Man/woman have to nyam. Furthermore, talking about the lack of diversity in roles for black actors in the U.K. Racial equality is a taboo subject to talk about over here. Instead we get smug because Brown, Black, Yellow and white get down in the bedroom. As if integration means lack of racism and more equality…….
