UPDATE: The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have decided to proceed with legal action against french magazine Closer.
Oh dear it’s all kicking off now that french gossip magazine Closer has published topless photographs of the Duchess Of Cambridge (Kate Middleton), taken while she sun bathed during a holiday in Provence last month.

The Royal couple are furious that the French magazine Closer has published the photographs, taken during their holiday in Provence last month, saying it was “unthinkable” that anyone should print them.
In the most strongly-worded statement to come from the Royal family in years, a spokesman for St James’s Palace said: “Their Royal Highnesses have been hugely saddened to learn that a French publication and a photographer have invaded
their privacy in such a grotesque and totally unjustifiable manner.“The incident is reminiscent of the worst excesses of the press and paparazzi during the life of Diana, Princess of Wales, and all the more upsetting to The Duke and Duchess for being so.
“Their Royal Highnesses had every expectation of privacy in the remote house. It is unthinkable that anyone should take such photographs, let alone publish them.
“Officials acting on behalf of Their Royal Highnesses are consulting with lawyers to consider what options may be available to The Duke and Duchess.”
I am actually surprised that a woman in Kate’s position sun bathed topless in the first place and also surprised that William did not think to advise his wife that it might be wise to keep the bikini top on.
For a start has Kate never heard of the dreaded zoom in camera lens that the paparazzi use on a regular basis and secondly just because the British press has signed some sort of “peace treaty” with the Palace and agreed to give the Royals their privacy it doesn’t mean the rest of the world has to or is going to adhere to the same rules.
Are William and Kate really that naive? They really should have seen this coming.
And to the Daily Mail commentator who wrote:
“I put two raisins on a wafer and tried to imagine her topless”.
You are seriously going to hell for that one.

As much as i’m a firm believer in privacy for all (celebs included) i don’t think there’s anything wrong with her posing topless, but she’s dumb to think being married into Royal family she’s exempt from this kind of ‘intrusion’, so no I don’t feel sorry for her in this instance.
I cant breath at the quote from the Daily Mail reader. Oh dear!
yes why is she going topless. nudity seems to be royal thing I guess
I’ll never understand the need for women to be naked or ‘topless’ in public. Unless you are walking the streets naked why the need for an ‘all over’ tan?
