The New York Association of Black Journalists will honour superstar Beyonce for an article she “wrote” for Essence titled Eat, Play, Love (click here to read the “award winning” article). The article was published in July 2011 and detailed her nine-month “break” away from the spotlight. Essence’s entertainment director gushed, “she’s a real writer”. … Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! What a load of rubbish. Yesterday rapper Rick Ross held an invitation only press conference (yeah the news was that big) and announced that singer/former B2K star Omarion would be joining his label Maybach Music Group (MMG). I actually like Omarion and wish him the best of luck. Big man Ross’ label roster seems to be growing by the minute and the industry seems to have fallen in love with him. Via The Telegraph Jermaine Pennant, the Premier League footballer, has been arrested after allegedly punching a woman in the face in a nighclub. The 29-year-old Stoke City player is accused of assaulting Jenna Timmis, who claimed to be a friend of his partner. For months now people have been accusing Beyonce of lying about ever being pregnant and that she used a surrogate.
