Noel Clarke co-wrote the Fast Girls script and look the film has already been given a four and five-star rating. “A WINNER!!!”, “INSPIRATIONAL!!!! the reviewers scream.

Apparently Lenora Critchlow is the first ‘black’ actress to play the lead role in a British Film.
All I can do is laugh….
I’ve seen the film. Don’t know about 4/5 stars though. Good to see Noel as usual not stay in a sterotypical role unlike some other actors #shade. Great to see Black women in the supporting role who aren’t well known and also help carry the film.
Lenora is not going to play Ellen of Troy . in a urban movie of course she’d be a lead.
Emeli Sandé= mulatto Lenora = Mulatto and I don’t know who the natural girl is .
I think it is time black girls write their own movies. You’ll continue to be replaced by women with only one black parent. Oh god now my fried plantains are burned to crisps . I can smell them here upstairs argh !
I liked the film but its never 4 stars and its rather interesting in having Black women at its centre. Also Lenora definitely isnt the first Black actress to lead a British film thats lazy writing by the Evening Standard.

Also I think it is funny how White people (and some Mixed Race) choose to call mixed people “Black” when it is convenient and hype…
