I laughed hysterically today when I read this story on the train. You just could not make this up.

A cross-eyed arsonist who set fire to a shop that sold pants during the August riots was caught after police spotted his unusual eyes on CCTV.

Firebug Andrew Burls, 23, has now admitted in court starting the blaze, which caused nearly £1million in damage and left six people homeless.

He is due to be sentenced on February 20.

Burls, from Peckham, South London, thought he had evaded police as he covered most of his face with a scarf while setting fire to a Peckham store and nearby Post Office.

But his eyes, which turned cross-eyed under stress, were still visible and allowed police to track him down. Continue Reading….
