Several weeks ago YouTube footage of Emma West (34) racially abusing fellow passengers on a tram went viral and has now been watched by 11 million people. West was then later arrested . The Guardian now reports that West has been remanded in custody during a court appearance and has been charged with a racially aggravated public order offence.
