Four-part channel 4 drama Top Boy which starts on Monday 31st October has been criticised by the mayor of Hackney Jules Pipe for perpetuating negative stereotypes of black people. The BBC reports that football club QPR will look in to claims that Chelsea star/England captain John Terry racially abused fellow player Anton Ferdinand during the Chelsea v QPR game yesterday. QPR officials will meet Ferdinand on Tuesday (24 October) and decide whether to proceed with a formal complaint.
