Just bought it, nice cover ( even though they could have taken a new pic instead of recycling one seen around a lot already)
Anyway,
Am I the only one who thinks the content of the magazine is a bit blah, absolutely nothing interesting to read….
I only buy it because I try as much as I can to support black businesses.
@Nubiahbella keep trying to support Black businesses. Because as i have always known if we don’t they will go away. I subscribe to most Black magazines here in the states because i know how important it is to see people who look like us. And if we don’t support our own…hell no one else will. Black people really don’t get that no one really cares about us. So we have to care! And yeah some of the content needs a bit of help at times….that’s why I write in… Oh Jill Scott is…amazing!! I go see her everytime she is in town…
I agree 100% with what you say, if we don’t look after our own who will.
Love Jill Scott her lastest album is good too on constant rotation on my ipod
