UK NEWS: DEPUTY MAYOR OF LAMBETH ARRESTED ON ASSAULT CHARGE

Oh dear…. Via The Evening Standard The deputy mayor of Lambeth has been arrested after an attack that left a man with a broken jaw and ribs and requiring 27 stitches. Liberal Democrat Judith Best, 51, attended a police station on Saturday and was arrested accused  of actual bodily harm with conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm. She was bailed. US GOVERNMENT DRAFTS IN WILL.IAM TO ORGANISE CONCERT IN CHINA

Rolling Stone reports that the US government has asked Black Eyed Peas front man Will.i.am to organise a concert in Beijing China which will apparently help to “encourage cultural and educational exchanges between China and the United States. According to the publication ‘Secretary of State Hillary Clinton met with the rapper on Friday to discuss the project, which is part of the Obama administration’s 100,000 Strong Initiative,  a program developed to increase the number of Americans studying abroad in China’.
