Chris Evans has been accused of racism after telling a black scientist he could not see her in a dim BBC studio.
The presenter told Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock, a highly respected space expert and government adviser: ‘I can barely see you, to be honest.’
The remark came after he mistakenly said she was Caribbean when she is of Nigerian descent. Continue Reading…..
I don’t know why Chris would just assume she was from the Caribbean and what did her nationality have to do with the topic being discussed????
Foolishness!

I wouldn’t say it was a racist remark according to how the conversation was going,
Scientist: ‘There’s plenty out there to see, unfortunately, not tonight…’
Chris: ‘No, it is terrible today. I can barely see you into it….’
Scientist: ‘There are plenty of planets to see, you can see Jupiter, you can see….’
things getting blown way out of proportion as usual, though it annoying when people assume all black people are from one country.
