I thought this was a joke at first but it’s true. Former Death Row Records founder/CEO Suge Knight will front PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) latest campaign. In the campaign Suge speaks out against chaining dogs.
Suge says,
“Dogs deserve our love and attention not a life of ‘solitary confinement’ at the end of a chain. Dogs depend on us to take care of them, to keep them safe and healthy. Chaining a dog is one of the cruelest things you can to do them – they are social animals.”
First rapper Waka Flocka and now Suge Knight. PETA obviously wants to infiltrate the “Urban” demographic with their campaigns and Suge Knight is desperate to show that he’s cleaned up his image for some cash.

UPDATE: In response to the post above a representative from PETA has reached out to Mad News and says,
It is implied that Suge Knight is being paid for joining PETA in speaking out against cruelty to animals. This is simply not true. Celebrities, including Suge Knight, who appear in public service announcements (PSA) for PETA do so on a voluntary basis out of the goodness of their hearts, never for any form of monetary payment.

I used to look up to Suge Knight when i was young.. The “first nigga off the projects to own his own sh*t”.
@ Gary, Suge was not the first Black man from the projects to own his own sh*t. His PR at the time maybe liked to say that he was. And how he came to own sh*t is another matter!
The JewISH powers own his sh*t. I’ve yet to see one so called Negro who came up in the music industry without JewISH financing behind them.
the power of extreme marketing is a foot!
Please!!!!
PETA’s aims are admirable but I think they, and other animal rights organisations let themselves down with certain choices they make in regards to their campaigns. Who will they get next Chris Brown? (Sorry Chris I know that was a low blow). Suge Knight is said to be a brutal individual, he was caught stamping on a individual along with some his affiliates in a casino on a security tape, is alleged to have threatened Easy-E & his manager Jerry Heller with a baseball bat to release Dr. Dre & D.O.C. from a contract with Ruthless Records , made a man drink a bucket of urine, and hung Vanilla Ice over an balcony as a motivating factor for him “willfully” signing over royalties supposedly owed to business associates.
Why is there this disconnect between the ethical treatment of animals & the ethical treatment of humans? So PETA don’t mind if you treat humans worse than animals, as long as you treat animals like their human? It makes them look silly using such characters. I do understand their thought process for choosing him, as they may believe that a character such as himself may able to have influence over a particular demographic, who they feel they have a difficulty reaching, and influencing with previous campaigns, but I think they could’ve made a better choice.
On a lighter note I find Mr knights statement quite amusing;
“Dogs deserve our love and attention not a life of ‘solitary confinement’ at the end of a chain. Dogs depend on us to take care of them, to keep them safe and healthy. Chaining a dog is one of the cruelest things you can to do them – they are social animals.”
Err excuse me Mr Knight, weren’t you the same person that tried to keep a certain dog by the name of Snoop legally chained to your rapidly crumbling record label, until Master P had to negotiate his freedom (indentured servitude to No Limit Records)? I’m just saying!!
