Two British nationals are due to appear in court here today after they were arrested at the Norman Manley International Airport (NMIA) soon after their flight arrived from London late yesterday.

Jason Dixon and Danielle Bishop were alleged to have been involved in an incident on board the Virgin Atlantic flight from London’s Gatwick Airport to Jamaica.

Reports are that one of the Britons had become intoxicated and became unruly resulting in a fight.

No other passenger was injured during the fracas but the airline is reporting damage estimated at £5,000 (US$8,247). Continue Reading….

My mum’s friend was on this flight. She didn’t hear or see the fracas but wondered why the pilot circled for over an hour before finally landing.
