BBC Radio 1 DJ Tim “The Big Dawg” Westwood has flown out to entertain British troops in Afghanistan.
The DJ took a tour of Camp Bastion, visiting the hospital and the workshops of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers.
He finished his day by playing a few tunes for diners in the Bastion cookhouse.

He just had to pose with big guns didn’t he. He has the same mentality as his fanbase.
@Moreno – He’s the “big dawg”. Tim isn’t going anywhere. His Radio 1 show on Fri/Sat nights still pulls in the listeners. Not sure about the 1xtra show in the evenings though.
