Reggae legend Gregory Isaacs sadly passed away early this morning (October 25th), at the age of 59. The Jamaican singer had apparently been ill for sometime.
Gregory’s hits included Night Nurse, Tune In, My Number One, Love Overdue, Rumours and The Border.
Rest In Peace Gregory Isaacs.

Wow 20 comments for the Cheryl Cole Story and only one above this. *sigh*
RIP Gregory Issacs. Music and Jamaica has lost a legend.
Oh God, i grew up to that night nurse song. He was only 59? R.I.P
He was a Legend. love “Night Nurse” RIP!
Met Gregory in 1975 on his first UK show in Birmingham. He was lovely polite and a gentleman. Thera are so many other tracks he did that most people are not familar with as the stations only ever play the most know tunes which is a shame. Try: My Religion
May the soul of the departed rest in peace.
