It has been brought to my attention that Choice FM host Richard Blackwood has been M.I.A (Missing In Action) for weeks now, and there has been no explanation for his absence.
*Note I last tuned in to Choice back in 2006. This is just what I’ve been told. *
Fellow blogger and radio host Miss Lala posted recent video footage of Richard when he appeared on Tim Westwood’s BBC Radio show, and then went on to ask, “do Choice FM allow their DJs to fraternise with other DJs from rival stations? hmmm”.
Good question!
So what is going here? Has he gone on holiday? Has he left the station? Or was he pushed?
Enquiring minds would like to know.
Also Richard’s PR really needs to take a look at his Wikipedia page. Click HERE to read.

i heard that RB is no longer working for choice… 2-3wks ago they parted ways.
I get the feeling they parted company MONTHS ago. And I heard today that RB still talks as if he’s still there
The truth is, he got axed coz of a what seemed 2be a ‘politically incorrect’ statement on air in May. When listening to it, is nothing of the sort. It seems that it was just an excuse to let he presenter go. Along with this is the dismissal of host Dre Thompson and longer running host Wayne ‘Dibbi’ Rollins.
The station has been acclaimed to be willing to go to all lengths to ensure that the audience figures remain very high within the mainstream, yet ‘urban’ sector…
…
i think not.
Blackwood still continues to do comedy and theatre shows as well as TV performances.
Co hosts Aaron Fontaine, Alexia DeLeon and Symone Byer have all gained degrees from university this year, and will continue to persue various projects
