Sony Pictures has been accused of using stand-ins for Michael Jackson on the upcoming concert movie This Is It.
According to the News of the World, Michael’s father Joe and sister La Toya believe that the film company is “fooling” fans with the use of impersonators.
Joe, who has seen 12 minutes of the film, said: “This movie features body doubles, no doubt about it. I think people will tear this movie apart.”
La Toya’s business partner Jeffre Phillips added: “I see all these great movements in the trailers but I don’t believe most of those shots were Michael.
“He wasn’t well enough. I’ve seen clips where I even thought, ‘That’s not Michael’s voice’.” It’s very upsetting for La Toya.”
Navi Parasram, a 36-year-old Michael lookalike from Essex, claimed: “They asked me to do long shots, visuals, placements.”
Sony declined to comment to the newspaper.
I bet Sony is guilty of hiring stand in’s! They want to make as much money as they can off the back of Michael’s corpse and his grieving fans.
These people have no morals! They would probably sell their own mothers if they thought they could make a profit.
