Today while on Twitter I came across some hilarious twits from Radio 1 Hip Hop personality, Tim ‘Big Dawg’ Westwood.
Singer Ciara is currently in the country touring with Britney Spears and for some unknown reason asked Tim to take her to her favourite store, Top Shop.
But Tim, who I’m guessing suffers sleepless nights worrying about his own financial security, the state of our economy and the recession had other ideas….
Ciara asked me to take her shoppin today her favourite shop is Top Shop but I suggested Primark. She hadn’t heard of it but I’m tight.
just brought Ciara 7 pairs of shoes, 10 dresses, 3 bags and matching accessories – spent £112. Is that enuff to guarantee a jump-off?

I have never understood why women go wild over Top Shop. I have walked in to that store on numerous occasions and walked straight back out empty handed, because I never see anything in there that’s worth purchasing.
Give me cheap Primark over extortionate Top Shop any day of the week!
But having said that Primark’s items seem to have gone up in price. 7 pairs of shoes, 10 dresses, 3 bags and matching accessories all came up to the grand total of £112. I remember when Primark first opened it’s doors. Back then you could purchase all those items for just under £100.00.
Anyway Tim as well as also wanting to treat Ciara to a spree in Matalan, you might also want to try Peacocks.

Quality in primark has improved abit, atleast now u can get a summer top and not worry abt 1st time washing. Top shop is extortionate. Lol. I find it gothic aswell. As 4 matalan, there’s a clearance shop near where i live, but even then, i wait 4 sales. Am that bad. Ciara will look good in primark. So, is tim taking the cash balance? There’s a big diff btn top shop and primark. LOL
Since the Oxford Circus opened it’s door a few years back their prizes have shot up big time, put they quality hasn’t. Primark to me will only be for small bit and pieces that I am happy to throw away after a while. I will stick to proper shops such as Zara, Mango and H&M for my real stuff. Matalan is not bad for home stuff and undies.
I’ve been 2 that primark on oxford street, but everytime i go there, i see products that the local glasgow one doesn’t have, and the prices differ. The que is a killer. Lol
