An academy has opened its doors in London to people who want to be cast in reality TV shows, writes Deronke.
The Reality TV Academy, which is based in Hammersmith, will feature training workshops and teach students how to find opportunities in the media industry.
Hopefuls will be filmed for a mock audition, and spend time with a former reality TV star, who will talk about their experience.
‘Some people fall at the first hurdle when they apply, they choose the wrong photos and don’t give the answers that will capture the imagination,’ the academy’s bosses said.
‘Then if they do make it to the audition they say the wrong things or don’t get themselves across to the producers.
‘Getting on a reality show is a bit like being interviewed for a job, you only have a few minutes to shine. You would prepare for a job interview, why not for a reality TV show?’
So let me get this straight, being on reality TV is now a career???
This is clearly a venture designed to fleece the gullible and the fame hungry.
Anyway if you do happen to be gullible and desperate enough to want to appear on some shoddy “reality” vehicle, then click here to find out more about the academy, fees and booking information.
Mad News wishes you the best of luck!
