Terminally ill reality TV star Jade Goody is planning to marry her current boyfriend Jack Tweed, who proposed to her in hospital on Friday.
Goody’s publicist Max Clifford has also revealed that Harrods owner Mohamed Al Fayed had given Goody a dress as “a wedding present” and that singer Elton John had offered the use of one of his homes as a venue.
Goody was diagnosed with having cervical cancer in October 2008.

Presumably Mohamed and Elton will both continue to show this same level of generosity to each of the 1000 other women who die from cervical cancer each year in the UK? I assume that their generosity isn’t only restricted to celebs?

I think you’ll fin Mohamed Al-Fayed is very very generous actually. He is still to date the largest single contributor to Great Ormond Street Childrens Hospital, he financially supports Zoes Ward in Liverpool. He also supports many other charities.
