  3. LOL!! It sold out as soon as it hit the stands – but I am with you Miss Mad News it is indeed satirical art work and absolutely what MAD are known for! I read about this cover in the FT and President Obama is said to have found the cover highly amusing!

    I have since successfully, bought both this Mad issue and the Marvel Spiderman Obama comic in auctions for a pretty penny – but this moment is history at its very best and I am happy to invest in any real Obama memorabilia.

  9. Obama in a comic??? This is so dangerous, the way the media is exalting and lifting this guy up is not normal, it almost seems as if they are setting him up big time for a massive fall. Since when has a president been labelled as a Saviour or a Messiah? The public are expecting so much from this man even though he runs nothing and is a puppet.

    And when he doesn’t deliver(which he won’t), watch racial hatred between blacks and white sky rocket to new levels and then the race riots are going to kick off which will be a regular occurance, and it isn’t just blacks in America who are going to be targeted. Blacks all over the world will be persecuted.

    All jokes aside, though, Obama has stated many, many times that he will need help from everyone to make things happen. He consistently speaks to Americans getting involved in their government in ways that they may not have been interested in before. He singlehandedly made politics cool for an entire generation of Americans, hence his messianic media coverage.

    We all know (@ least anyone w/a modicum of intelligence knows) that the problems America faces will take many years to fix. I just hope that Obama steers the country in the right direction.

    By the way, this cover is dope. Mad Magazine (to echo someone else’s point) is classic w/the satire, and that’s just what this is.

  12. @ sundance, when it comes to this topic, whatever you say, especially where verbs is concerned, will fall on deaf ears. But do not give up, he has not.
    I’ll say it’s a reflection of public expectations, hence the insane look pictured. Very expressive.

    Here is the problem with his cry for the people to get involved in their government. For starters the true end and ultimate objective is not being seen by the majority because they have already hailed him as some super hero and no one has bothered to check out his background and the policies he has stood for in the past and what he really stands for now, not what he is publically declaring.

    Secondly, he is recruiting the people against the people. Here is an extensive 21 point list of what to expect from the dictator Obama.

    What to expect under Obama as president:

    1. Increase in the police state.

    2. Invasions into more sovereign nations.

    3. More wars and a massive increase in the defence budget in the name
    of “fighting terror”.

    4. More bills to restrict the second amendment and to attempt to
    confiscate guns so americans cannot defend themselves against a
    tyrannical government(guns sales have gone up 50% since Obama won the presidency, folks know his coming for the guns and they know their
    freedom is in trouble). Many stores have sold out of ammunition
    rounds.

    5. Laws for forced national draft and service to the army(he
    advertised this on his website http://www.change.org but pulled it when
    newspapers and folks clocked on).This includes the elderly and women.

    6. Hand more rights and powers over to the gay/lesbian movement thus
    eroding the Christian foundation on which America was built and at the
    same time eroding away the family.

    7. Approve new bills for more ways of carrying out horrific abortion
    procedures(google “partial birth abortion”).

    8. Increase taxes.

    9. Create new taxes especially ones in the name of “climate change”
    and “saving the earth”(carbon taxes). Yet it’s simple knowledge that
    plants breathe in CO2 and put out oxygen. Global warming is a scam and
    just another way of installing more taxes on the people. If you have doubts about this please google “Obama’s Flatulence Tax”.

    10. Continue to legalise illegals.

    11. Continue to as Bush has started, to deploy more US marines onto
    the streets in the name of “fighting crime” and “helping the people”,
    but really the troops are there against the people and will show their
    colours in due course. In an article in the Army times a general said
    “We hope that we don’t have to shoot the American people”.

    12. More cameras on the streets in the name of “fighting terrorism” to
    spy on American citizens.

    13. Recruit a million man youth core for domestic activities(he has
    already called for this). I’ll remind you that Hitler done the same
    thing when he rose to power. By the way, the youth core will be used
    to spy on the citizens, plain and simple.

    14. Continue and increase warrantless phone tapping on the American citizens.

    15. Indoctrinate the youth to spy on, log details and taddle on their
    parents to the police and other governmental authorities.

    16. More false flag terror attacks on American soil. Expect to see
    Osama’s face pop into the news very soon(even though he has been dead for close to 5 years now). They still need a boogie man to frighten
    the people into submission and deadman Osama is the perfect candidate.
    Because of Bush’s dumb and flumbling ways, people saw through 9/11 as an inside job especially after the evidence was put forward. So the Bush administration couldn’t carry out any more false flags attacks(9/11) as the people would clock on straight away but with Mr Slickster Obama now in office, some people are more likely to buy any future attacks as a genuine threat.

    17. A complete collapse of the american dollar as we know it and a
    depression worse than the 1930’s depression. This depression will make
    the 1930’s one look like a picnic.

    18. Food riots, due to an engineered food shortage mastered by the
    globalists. Food riots occured in Italy a few months ago over pasta
    shortages and that is a first world country. Supermarkets in the US
    are already being refused credit so they can restock their shelves.
    They only have 3 days worth of stock if they go dry. Food riots have already occurred in over 50 countries worldwide including Iceland is(soon to be was) a first world country.

    19. A conflict with Russia or China. Part 1 has already taken place
    with the Georgian sneak attack on Ossedia and the Russians having to
    come in and driven the Georgian army back. That attack was US
    sponsered and initiated.

    20. More cops on the streets but writing tickets for foolishness
    rather than investigating the real crimes. Expect therefore a sharp
    surgical increase in violent crime.

    21. More face scanning cameras and license plate reading cameras to
    clobbler the middle class with even more taxes in the name of fines.

    He is a complete devil, he will sell out black people in a worse fashion than Bush. His policies are complete deviltry and darkness and only serve to plunge not only America but the whole world into a new level of darkness. Being a president, you follow the script you are given, you are not free to make independent decisions and choices. Kennedy done that when he attempted to end the PRIVATE Federal Reserve and put the printing of money back into the government’s hands and free the people from debt and look what happened to him.

    Reagan stepped out of line slightly and he got capped as a warning to get back in line. Presidents do not serve the people, they serve the elite bankers who run the financial systems of the world through debt. Why do you think nothing changes and things always get worse?

    I do not like Obama because he has voluntarily put himself forward to shaft his own people, he has consecrated himself as a living vessel for this cause. Plus there are other reasons that I mentioned before like the very questionable citizenship, his shady dealings with his cousin Odinga in Kenya, talks about him implementing Shira Law in America(right next door to communism, you don’t want any of it).

    He is what is called the Judas goat, so not only will he be sacrificed but he will take countless others with him. Look at the climate we are in, tell me that he hasn’t been set up as the fall guy?

    It’s not conspiracy , undercover, on the down low or whatever else that that skunk makes people chat sh*t about.

    If you read and digest news daily from many of the free and available sources presented to you by traditional column inches or this host we use daily, the world wide web (it’s in the title) you can ascertain all the information you need to realise that the corporate ideals of the West are changing and is no longer concerned with simplistic tribal or nationalistic seperatist tactics (racism) to maintain their wealth and power. Globally, influential Heads of State have already sown up primarily corporate interests and are not conditioned to black, white, whatever, only money and greed.

    So, if the docile peoples of the world are happy to sign up for the exact same political set up on the basis of “well, he looks like one of us” so be it.
    All i am saying is that it is not an insight to point out the bleeding obvious. You don’t get a gold star bringing to this to big people.

    Where once peoples of the world lived in relative ignorance because their governments would hide informatiion and their intentions to eff them up, today the beauty about the Generation Me, Myself and I crew DON’T WANT TO KNOW. They actively choose consumerism for solace and will switch away from information pertaining to their future.

    That is the tragedy not the conspiracy.

    I’m happy for those who feel that they have learned some great truth from these shouted about revelations, but I want to further the debate..it’s frankly, cheap.

    From 6 billion to 500 million would be quite a drop don’t you think?

    What about Aspartame(an artificial sweetner) which is found in all diet drinks and sugar free drinks, the fact that it is linked to cancer and brain damage. It was originally used in rat poison but good old Donald Rumsfeld made sure that it made it into your sodas and other drinks. Coincidence?

    What about the compound BPA which is a Estrogen mimicking chemical which manufacturers are using in the production of plastic bottles including baby bottles and the lining of cans and other food containers. Would be no problems except for the fact that the BPA compound leeches into the drinks and foods concerned and can lead to obesity, diabetes, thyroid disease, breast cancer, prostate cancer and other illnesses. It also affects the development of a young boy’s testicles so they do not descend when he reaches adolescence. Would also explain the “man boob” epidemic currently raging. Google “Dangers Of BPA” if in doubt. Coincidence?

    What about the World Health Organisation who went over to Africa in the 1970’s in the name of “a cure” with their small pox vaccine which also just happened to contain the HIV virus. Coincidence?

    What about Operation Northwoods, a government conspiracy hatched in 1962 to carry out false flag terror attacks in US cities to justify a war with their “enemy” at the time Cuba. DECLASSIFIED US DOCUMENT. Google that if in doubt. Coincidence?

    What about the British Ministry of Defence documents which state that they have made provisions for 30 years of continuos UK rioting in the heat of this depression which is upon us. On the American side, what about the fact that from October 1st 2008, the US army is now patrolling US streets? Coincidence?

I have shown you about the fema trains 3 stories high which have chain and shackle attachments fixed to the floor, not to mention the numerous concentration camps peppered all across the United States.

    And now in 2009, at the beginning stages of the largest financial crisis the world has ever seen, a BLACK MAN is put in the president’s seat, called a Saviour and a Messiah, exhalted beyond measure of any president before him and expected to deal with a crisis the whole world pulling together couldn’t fix. He has been set up. Get your head out of the sand.

    As for Obama and his pending failure, this is what I was saying before would kick off the race riots worldwide. Make no mistakes about it, HE WILL shaft black people harder than they have ever had it under the previous presidents.
