  1. DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB. This seems to be the trend with many people as soon as they become wealthy, they tend to subscribe to absolutely foolishness. I stick with my position in society thanks, at least I won’t go out dressed like a prat.

  2. I see Kanye cannot not stop with the freemasonry symbolism. Now its the 90 degree right angled feet eh Kanye. Again, hidden in plain view.

  3. And another thing. Why are they trying so hard to be and fit in with the European? This kind of random and abstract dresscoding has never been associated with black people, this has always been a trend of the European. So really and truly, Kanye and his chieftains are just making a massive fool out of themselves and they are sticking out like 6 hi visibility jackets. Wearing dumb coloured garments or dumb garments period is not going to hide you FACE Kanye. It is still BLACK and people will still see that regardless of where you venture in the world……….especially France.

  4. At times like this, it only solidifies my belief that God has a sense of humor. Why? Colour blindness.
The dude, with the leopard print, is there for only one reason. To make the others look good.
And finally, the ‘frollet, who saw this coming?

  5. my man is the green jacket, what is he doing?… where are his parents? whats was jumping off in his house while he was growing up .

  6. @ Adaobi – the “frollet” – lol! Probably to go with his 80’s sounding album.

But seriously, was this a joke? Maybe they think that this is what fashionable Black European’s wear?

  7. I dunno…

Except for the guy in the leopard print, they look decent to me…

And what does race have to do w/this? Kanye clearly identifies w/his Blackness, and proudly (remember: G. W. doesn’t like Black people…LOL)!

  8. I just want to drag off those leopard print leggings and give every single one of dem two licks across the head. I would then grab hold of the brief case and beat Kanye with that too.

Oh Lord.. I remember the “George Bush doesn’t like black people” comment. I was no fan of GW and agree he didn’t care, but Kanye just sounded so unprepared I felt embarassed watching him.

I still can’t bring myself to watch that footage in it’s entirety….

  9. oh dear just when you guys were proud to be American – you sent over Kanye Fool, he now wants to be know as MARTIN LUIS THE KIND JR !!!!!

    lol

You need a head dr Kanye!

  10. Oh dear, I see there is an age gap in the hip hop-esque fashion stakes.

This is actually how a lot of the forward artists in a subgenre of hip hop dress so I don’t see this as bad.

I have to say , if you came out to a Deviation BNight in London with benji bs lot or went to a Sa-Ra/J Davey/Heavy/Stones Throw Records and a multitude of younger audiences events yu would see this …

Sorry Jan, but your Jim Jim and all that lot are pretty outmoded..

    Reclaimin’ awaits the assaults…

  11. @Sundance

Kanye will identify with anyone and anything that will further his career and increase his financial status. So identification with Kanye is particular to the environment he is in at the time. I seem to remember hearing about Kanye making some sort of statement in the past in support of homosexuals and lesbians. He is simply a leaf being tossed in the wind.

  12. @Reclaiming

The dresscode is still not associated with blacks period even though a percentage of blacks have decided to take on this abstract fashion. This kind of trend is a concern aswell as the other rubbish that is being accepted by not only blacks but the rest of the world. Nobody works by any framework anymore, people have just got so slack with their standards.

  13. @ Verbs

What is black peoples clothes..i’ve never heard such an ignorant thing

I s’pose Africans were born in baggy trousers and sports logos eblazoned as tribal marks on the screen!

  14. ta reclaimin’, that didn’t sit v well with me either!

more to the point, that is one t.i.i.i.r.e.d. look. is it supposed to look different because he’s a rapper, so should be seen in bling and with his pecs out? hell, jay z and fiddy turned preppy a long while back! poor kanye he just looks like a hoxton twat did 5 years ago.

  15. @ Jan, of course your Jim Jim is in his own league. The league of eternal highness (not the regal one).
@ Reclaimin’, I was born in a hoodie, a pair of jeans & a pair chuck taylors.

  16. @Reclaiming

Black people have always dressed with framework and order. The clothes these guys are wearing are out of order, have no co-ordination and are more suited to a fancy dress convention. Will you never stand on solid ground in relation to any topic Reclaiming?

  17. Other than the guy with the leopard pants lol lol lol, I have no probs with what some of them are wearing.

If they were photographed on their own, ( bar leopard man ), I doubt you would pay much attention, unless you were stuck in a time warp. Fashion lost it’s sense a long time ago.. (Red glasses, blue jacket & yellow shoes. )

All grouped together with the L. briefcases, just screams desperate and trying too hard. It looks like the guy stuck behind Kanye and leopard man was just walking by and stopped to see what was happening lol !!!

Even if Kanye’s rants are tongue in cheek and he’s having a pop at the haters, I still think he’s lost the plot.

    Verbs /Reclaiming it’s on lol !!!

  18. Anyone who is defending the tired non-fitting outfits good luck…stay there with your non-fitted outfits and prison swagger….real women like men who aren’t afraid of their shape and have escalated out of teenage embarrassment ie. wear anything to cover yourself up.

Keep your cheaply made logo emblazoned out of date garms….women know who they check for and it ain’t nylon doorags, square jeans that look like they’ve been starched for a decade, logos plastered everywhere, sportswear, sportswear and more sportswear available at ALL High Street stores, xxxL T shirts that make any brudda look malnourished and obligatory baseball caps….it’s gone on for long enough!LMAO!

    @Verbs,
Your last comment has to be the dumbest yet! You are a speaker for what black people should wear! Why not put yourself in a box of chicken with a doorag and throw away the key.
DO NOT speak for what I or anyoone with melanin SHOULD wear. You clearly are no expert in fashion and trends, which are not always about the big issue of the black day, jeez! Depending on how old you are, take a look at ur wardrobe in the 80s and tell me about colours and coordination-MUPPET!
Take a look at rappers in the late 70s and 80s and refresh urself. It’s a bloody retro reference and is simply a fad not a social commentary on homoerotic tendency in black culture, something that your way too up on.

JUST OUT OF INTEREST, can you advise me on what black women should be wearing seeing as there is clearly a checklist of black clothes I should be adhering to ..I don’t want to appear non-black..

  19. just been looking at them again and Kanye doesn’t look too too bad, just that lickle west coat ting he has under his jacket, there is no need for that, if he had scraped it, and gone with a nice dark shirt to match his jacket and jeans he would of looked nice, even with the briefcase and gloves. infact keep them on 😉

the brother to his right looks fine, pretty ok, as in his dress sense, I have no comments, straight forward matching and all.

now the brother on the far right, I actually like his swagger in dressing, the grey and the blue is nice together even with the bright yellow trainers, if there clean they can work, but the shades, maybe a light blue or yellow pair? would have been a better choice.

what am I saying here, ok… the 3 to the right look like they actually have style, the 3 to the left,,… look like wannabe’s smh.!

  20. @ Reclaimin – Once again you SMASHED it!!

    @ Verbs2009 and all those who co-sign the non-individuality clause – WTF??!!

You exist within ‘that’ framework within your life, right Verbs2009? Is it called a box by any chance? I think so. Do get back in it and bolt it tightly shut, because the world outside it is very bright, and you – not so much!

I guess you hate and wholly disapprove of other individual acts like: Earth, Wind and Fire; George Clinton; Andre 3000; Grace Jones……you get the gist, should I go on? I mean – these characters have only freed themselves from the idiotic limits which people like you place on them, and gone on to experience the full potential of their God given gifts/talents, so I guess they are really disadvantaged right now!!??

So, tell me – what IS your position in society, exactly? I want to be like you verbs2009. Who wants to be a leaf tossed in the wind, when you can be a leaf trampled into your place on the pavement. I want to exist in your world; as an individual in a non-individual kinda way. Forget the obvious oxymoron; if your sheep mentality of normal is the ‘truth’, let me be a disciple. Come up on this blog and rep yourself PROPERLY and openly, because your quasi references to what defines ‘black attire’ confuses me some….generally, statements without references = absolutely no substance, which = absolutely no respect!!

For the VERY OBVIOUS RECORD – Reclaimin DID and always DOES stand on solid ground when it comes to topics up here. The question is: Can your position in society help you digest then counter an articulate and intelligent defence/response to make this argument remotely viable??

…..TIME TO BRING OUT THE BEST CHINA, BABY!! THIS IS ‘THAT’ MOMENT!!

  21. @ Mrs Gump- i thank thee for the light…lmao! I was beginning to think I was in some parellel universe..

Yours Fashionably Wearing My Red And Blue Bright Raincoat.x

  22. how did we get here, can somebody break this thing down for me pls?… wow!

what exactly is the problem, Verbs, I think I can see your point, like black folk used to always dress well, I think about my grandparents generation, WHAT! LISTEN THAT WINDRUSH GENERATION WOULD NOT BE CAUGHT DEAD LOOKING OUT OF PLACE, MISMATCHED, etc,…and we know this as we all have the family pics to prove it, if this what a part of ya point I see what your trying to say…

but knocking Reclaim… man thats suicide, sister has been on point from day dot.

I hope we can resolve this without being offensive to each other, we may even learn something from one anothers views?…

    a more optimistic fr…

  23. I would hate for us to all fall out on here over Kanye his and fruity wear.
    LOL!

In all honesty I can see what Kanye and his cronies are doing, taking us all back to the early 80s etc, rolling up to fashion week, styling and profiling…. yeah yeah. But the man just gets on my tits!!!

Get out of my sight for at least a year Kanye. Just go away for a while.

  24. LOL at the dude wearin them tight coochie crunchers ..lookin like he wants 2 start doin some ballet moves . His leopard pants crack me up..
the only time them pants were acceptable was if u was in a rock band in the 1980’s and even then they was disgustin lookin ..keep the skin tight pants 4 the ladies …

  25. Something to get it all started again:

    lol

Fashion is fashion…taste is taste…co-ordination could be considered a faux pax today…doesn’t anyone remember Ice Cubes Dad in Friday with the mushroom shirt and lining! That was the joke, how our parents were so obsessed with it.
No one can take away from the classic suits, and let’s be honest colonial (with a twist) attire of our parents generation. They looked sharp as hell!

I just won’t take fashion seriously …but agreed, Kanye is a twit at present

  26. Reclaimin’ …. ahahahah that picture, well I knew prince was ermm shall I say open minded when it comes to sexuality, but that picture is just tooooo fruity.

  27. @ Reclaiming

In what part of this conversion did you see me write what the recommendations are for black people to wear? The fact that the majority of people who have commented so far have expressed dissaproval and fault with the clothes and the colours that these guys are rocking has made you look like the turkey stuffing itself with seeds for its own demise.

Even folks wearing retro fit in the 70’s 80’s and 90’s still done it with co-ordination, framework and order. People combine colours and clothes that clearly do not fit in this picture and you still want to defend it, part of this “each to his own doctrine”. I suppose if you stepped in dog turd you would look upon your shoes from that point forward as “fashionable and trendy”.

I’m not stating that somebody cannot be an individual with his/her clothing styles and colours but I as with many others here can see when certain clothes and colours clash and I will point it out when asked. Geezer is rocking leopard trousers and you’re defending the dude. Leopard clothing is clearly in the woman department just like the colour pink. Despite one’s taste there still is a standard. Will you lick and suck the ring piece of every celebrity? You comments are not even fit for bird cage lining.

  28. @ Miss Gump

As I already stated to your chieftain and sidekick Reclaiming, despite a person’s individual choices when it comes to their clothing and the colours of their clothes, THERE IS A STANDARD!

For example pink is not a boy’s/man’s colour and men under no cricumstances should boys/men be rocking that colour. If a man is, then there is a good chance that he is homosexual or strongly behaves like a woman……which is another story.

Grace Jones was out there with her fashion and as for Andre 3000, he’s a prat and a fruitloop. What on earth is he doing relaxing his hair like a women and wearing a skirt? That is the thing with the world, you’ve mudded the standard line so much, you cannot make a righteous judgement anymore. This world is full of standards, borders, frameworks and barriers and for good reasons. It’s only now that the world is beginning to drop its standards of old and loose itself like a whore, that everything is going to hell in a handbasket.

“Each to his own”. That’s the whole problem with society today, everyone has their own standards and the line has gone. This goes deeper than just the clothes/colours etc which is another different and long story.

Another thing. Reclaimin doesn’t need you to suck on her rectum and defend her, she is quite capable of doing that herself. Rep yourself and your own points. You haven’t got china, you’re rocking plastic cups and paper plates with no cutlery.

  29. Rant rant rant verbs but the answer to your query is a couple of comments up:

    “Verbs2009 Says:

    January 27, 2009 at 1:19 pm
    @Reclaiming

The dresscode is still not associated with blacks period even though a percentage of blacks have decided to take on this abstract fashion. ”

I think that was the part tight there…

Oh my God, a man wearing leopard skin trousers (quick , breathe before you die!)

So thanks for the wardrobe recommendations yeah, leopard skin and pink…for a religious man, you is sure is naaaasty! lol!

The only celebrity is you babe.x

  30. @FR

Thats my point Fr, we as a people are better than this. Why are some of us trying so hard to fit in with what can only be described and utter foolishness? Black people had such high standards in the past but it is with deep regret that our time in western society has began to wear upon us and many of us have begun to adopt many of the slack practices and standards we once shunned. We know this for sure, we only have to look upon ourselves and see how far we have slidden down the ladder. Black people are cut from a different cloth of a better standard and it showed alot more in the past.

AS for Reclaimin and her chieftain sidekick Miss Gump, I will roast both of them if they come with foolish and compremising comments which are profitable for nothing. I will not hold back.

  31. Hail the Realest Black Man In The Yard Has Spoken.
The fried chicken must taste extra lickin good..hmm mmmm

    And still no wardrobe recommendations.

  32. Verbs I’m down, when I see a good point being made I will salute or support it, but then,,,, u went and said these things and well nah man I have to question it…

“For example pink is not a boy’s/man’s colour and men under no cricumstances should boys/men be rocking that colour. If a man is, then there is a good chance that he is homosexual or strongly behaves like a woman……which is another story.

Grace Jones was out there with her fashion and as for Andre 3000, he’s a prat and a fruitloop.”

ok, I do rock a sweet pink shirt with my sunday best from time to time, and I’m not gay, and I don’t think I behave like a women, in the last few years those walls have come down bro (did u miss that) and pink, purple, baby blue all them colours that were associated with women are open and free for all… when I say I wear pink not a whole suit, but yeah I do and come to think of it alot of men have, pac & big just to name a few as a reference, and nobody is calling them gay or fruity etc…???

also Andre 3000 is (imo) one of, if not they best writer in the game right now, how is he a prat, yes he might make so choices when picking what to wear, that many, many wouldn’t lol..but then he does come correct at times, i mean have u seen his clothing line, ‘Benjamin Bigsby’?… strange, misunderstood, even wired he may be, but a prat he is not.

oh yeah about the colours is there universal law on colours that I have missed, cos when u say ‘under no circumstances should… ‘ WHY??? … thats really strong and your points are interesting but where is the proof in the pudding, WHY SHOULD WE NOT WEAR PINK?

  33. lol Agnes chomping fassssssssssssssssst on my salt & sugar popcorn, slurping on my drinkkkkk weh heyyyyyyy.

This blog is hot to trot. Reclaiming smashed it :-).

  34. Hey Verbs2009 – SCARED…..VERY, VERY SCARED of you!!

You – Mr Bog Standard, with your supreme framework of ideas, just bought your best china to the table and shock horror, you don’t even know how to hold it! Aaaaaaah……the ignorance is so, so very endearing!

I continue to await your intelligent response, which may just show me a tiny glimmer of the Jedi-mindset you aspire to have, after all!!

Until such time, black man – I’m happy to meet you at the bins in your place of work, because as stated very clearly above – your opinions are utter RUBBISH till you explain with real dexterity of mind and absolute clarity what the hell you mean!

On second thoughts, if it takes you over 10 messages to get your little message across, I think perhaps you ought to rethink your whole ‘communication package’ – the standard one you employ is far too basic to be remotely dissected!

So give it an 11th bash and lets see what you’re really working with bro!!

    LMFAO @ haters.com!

  35. @Mrs Gump

This is a debate not a challenge so I apologise if you were scared and soiled yourself.

I brought facts to the table, not compremising nonsense unlike yourself. This is a fruitless debate. The majority of folks who have seen this picture have already expressed the view that the clothes and the colour are off(despite you calling them individuals), in fact from what I recall it was Ty that first came across this picture to show what a state these guys were in.

If you need me to organise your wardrobe then you have the problem navigating fashion sense not me. Its not always for the critic to offer the solution either, some folks need to figure it out by themselves.

So even though most folks on here have gone silent and are monitoring the debate from afar, the majority consensus here is that the clothes and the colours they are wearing are off, period. So attempting to make me look like a man by himself has not worked.

  36. @ Jan, these debates are necessary, there’s nothing like falling out. Why would anyone fall out with anyone over a debate moreover on the internet? Just let the people express themselves, unless you set a guideline for these things, which.

  37. @Reclaimin’

You defending a crossdresser in a pair of Leopard trousers and brothers with all over the place clothes and colours does not surprise me in the least. The same old Reclaimin’ who wants everybody to get onboard the ship and no standards to abound, a free for all, each to his own. Let me just explain something to you and your reprobate sidekick Mrs Gump.

The whole theme of this blog is based on how ridiculously foolish these guys are dressed and this understanding was continuous among all that passed comment……………until you came in to defend them(sigh, no surprise there).

As for my sharp comments, they have nothing to do with being nasty, they just illustrate a point of how you will brown nose anyone and anything and attempt to bring out a good side out of something which is a writeoff and cannot be salvaged.

They are dressed like a bunch of clowns, they are a laughing stock, what is wrong with you woman, is there nothing you will not stop to defend?

So yes, I will rant and speak my mind when I’m asked to, and will reprove faults when I see them. By the way, I don’t do religion and neither does Christ. Christ came to bring a complete lifestyle change to people, not just a change on Sunday mornings and reverting back to slackness for the rest of the week. Its a walk of life all day, everyday, not just on Sundays.

THOSE WHO STAND FOR NOTHING FALL FOR EVERYTHING!

  38. @FR..

But I dare to say Fr that 10 years ago you would have shunned the idea of wearing a pink shirt which brings me back to the point I made before about society’s influence(not always good) on us. Also the media showing all these celebs and rappers wearing colours and clothes they ought not has also had a seriously detrimental profound influence. Now anything goes which is a shame and shows how far we have lowered ourselves.

Generally if you are expecting a baby, if you know the baby is going to be a girl you would paint her room pink, and if you were expecting a boy the room would be painted blue. This is generally true but the point is that certain colours would not be considered for a boys room because they are closely related to girls and vise versa for the boys room. There are neutral colours that can be used for both but I’ll stick by my guns and say that pink has always been a girls colour.

Even with experiments that have been conducted, baby boys will crawl toward the blue colours and girls toward the pink.

In regards to pink, homosexuals and effeminates, I did say a good chance. Obviously you are not in those catagories but you have to ask yourself honestly, is what you have picked up good, considering the world is spiralling downhill from the very fact that standards are being slackened and dropped off?

Men wearing pink now is accepted but we must ask ourselves, at what cost?

  39. @ verbs, by the way thanks for the video you sent on that 85 comment topic. But why you brought it at that time when i was up to my neck, i’ll never understand. But thanx anyway. You were being you.

  40. @Lati

It’s extremely important to have standards and framework, especially in this day and age. It is no coincidence that a world which is full of compremise, throwing off set standards and framework is going downhill rapidly. So if that means me being the black sheep, going in a different direction from the rest and getting ridiculed for my beliefs then so be it. I know my life will be preserved in the long run. I seem to remember Christ talking about the broad way leading to destruction(with many going in that direction and becoming the sacrificial victims of it) and the narrow way leading to life(and very few people finding it). We can clearly see the world has taken the broad way……….and look at the results and the mess it is in.

  41. @Lati

That’s no problem at all. I stand for truth and am against error. I’ve handed many a copy of that dvd out to many people and many eyes have been opened.

  42. OK, I gotta jump in…

I LOVE pink. I have a bunch of pink tops and a couple of pink sneakers, and am the complete opposite of homosexual. I have a BEAUTIFUL girlfriend/soon-to-be-fiancee and a 6 year old daughter, and I love love LOVE the p–ssy (for all my Tropic Thunder devotees! LOL).

Nothing wrong w/a man wearing pink and a girl wearing blue.

BTW, I still think that w/the exception of the leopard print dude, their outfits are decent. I would rock them any day!

Maybe that doesn’t say much for my taste…LOL

PS: I’ve been wearing this style of clothing since 1989, very much pre-Kanye, AND I got tons of p–ssy via my wardrobe in high school, so there.

    ;-p

  43. @Sundance

I agree, certain colours can be crossed over to fro between boys and girls, blue is one of the colours. Isaid before, I will say it again, pink is a girl’s colour, it cannot be crossed over to boys regardless of what you have seen in the media, sorry sir.

I am very glad to hear that you have gotten many women and that you haven’t passed over to the darkside of sodomy. Also in regards to the statement I made before about a percentage of black people adopting this fashion, you’re input has confirmed this.

I will still say that what they are wearing is off the scale and they still look like clowns.

  44. @ Verbs…

I was dressing like this WAY before anyone else in the media, @ least over here in the US, so I don’t think that the influence came from any one particular rapper/artist/etc.

And I’ll have to strongly disagree w/you RE: pink being only for girls. I think that because of it’s relative softness, yes, it is PRIMARILY a feminine color, but that by no means says that ONLY girls should wear pink! Come on! Are you serious? A single sex has a monopoly on an entire COLOR? Ridiculous.

You raise EXCELLENT points w/everything else though.

  45. @Sundance

At least you have been honest and confessed that pink is indeed a feminine colour. You are also correct in stating that one sex does not have the monopoly on one colour. I’m a still say though, pink is not for boys/men. I believe that this fad of boys/men wearing pink is the result of slacking worldly standards and not the results of elevation and improvement in society’s values.

The general understanding has always been that pink is a girl’s colour and that only girls should wear it. Yourself being an exception to the wearing part supports the view that a percentage have not always thought this way.

I will say though that I will not be rocking pink anytime soon.

  46. You could indeed get away with dressing a baby boy in pink but you couldn’t do it for that long before he would rebuke you when he was a little older.

  47. @ Verbs – “I believe that this fad of boys/men wearing pink is the result of slacking worldly standards and not the results of elevation and improvement in society’s values.”..

You’ve got to be kidding me brotherman !!!

  48. Yeah, Verbs is hilarious.

Reminds me of my grandfather, all pissed off @ us “young whippersnappers with our MP3 players, not listening to the world around us”…

    LOL

Pink on men = downfall of society….

    For real?

  49. Well, many single women are complaining stating that they cannot find a decent man and a strong one. Are we surprised when we see men wearing attributes associated with females. The women have compassed the men and the men have been turned into mice, men simply are not men anymore. There is also a spiritual side to this. This is why God said that a man was not to put on a woman’s garment(Deut 22:5). This would also include the colours associated with women. Is there a possibility that the Almighty God might know something we don’t?

  51. @Mrs Gump

Are you back again? Nooooo, you jumped in from high with your 2 pence worth but you failed to observe the sign which said “shallow end” and so you cracked your reprobate head. Feels gutted being burnt doesn’t it and to think, you jumped in on somebody else’s bandwagon. Was this trip really necessary?

A loser? I’ll debate you in front of your work colleagues and you’ll still go home with soiled and wet work clothes woman. I’m not dictating what people should wear and how they should live their lives but I know clowns when I see them and these guys are dressed terribly, period.

  52. “Reminds me of my grandfather, all pissed off @ us “young whippersnappers with our MP3 players, not listening to the world around us”…” LOL
@ Sundance, and with those MP3 earphones, the war will come at your door without you knowing.

  53. Verbs man ur always trying to make out that I am some sort of equivicator because I don’t agree with you and think you’re a mupppet. I don’t actually know how much straight up I can be about that viewpoint.

I think that wiith all the words you copy and paste daily from your handy memoirs ‘How To Make No Sense Whatsoever But Use Plenty Of Words And I Seem Well Versed’ are truly hilarious. That’s why I enjoy knowing your celebrity. i Just forward the lateSt updates to peeps and they’re like “WHO IS THIS CAT?!”. 55. @Reclaimin’

Yeah, why not, lets go for another round…..but to be honest like your sidekick Mrs Gump you’ve dropped some serious clangers with some of these attempted jokes and runners. The point is that you are known for your fence riding, you are known for the fact that you won’t take an extreme stand on any issue.

This is nothing new on your part, you’ve always been like this even from back in the day on myspace, there is nothing new under the sun. As I stated before, everything is salvagable and good to you, whether it be from road kill to dove’s dung, Reclaimin’ will always have something good to say about it.

You are unstable and all over the place, you’re just like a drunkard with his/her door key trying to gain entry into someone else’s house. What are you doing, where are you going?

  56. @ Mrs Gump – leave homie alone boo!! He don’t even know you like that, so ain’t no reason to change the dynamics and damn near expose yo’self ova some blog ish!

@ Verbs2009 – let it go boo, let it gooooooo! lmao!!!

    @ The world – One Love, Peace n Love, I Had A Dream….keep it movin…

….dang, its too early for all this shit…..

  57. OK, let’s go for a record and hope to get 100 comments for Mad News

I seriously don’t think you read anything that said to you that is not palatable. You probably can’t see for all the red in your anger-filled eyes-no joke intended.

You think that shouting and screaming viewpoints means you to be passionate about a viewpoint and if someone can actually see a 360 degree angle on a topic about let’s not forget, mere clothes you thinks its on the fence.

What ison the fence about calling you a muppet. Is it because if the cute puppet association, should I have called you something else to express that I strongly disagreed with your opinion?*Says to self ‘What’s the point, he never answers direct questions , just edits what will suit his latest lambast*

Mrs Gump stepped up the game with what she’s about, I know what I’m about, really-do you come out of your bedroom at all?

I think I may have just found you a life partner:
    http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=-gX-vQ5sMOw&feature=related

  58. I’m known for fence riding- well there you go! I’M KNOWN, I’M KNOWN, THANK THE LORD I’M KNOWN….

By the way have you considered visiting Fred phelps, he needs a hand and you are the perfect candidate.

  59. @ Reclaiming….Got it in 1 sunshine

@ Verbs – Hush up and LISTEN to people who know what they’re on about and WHO THEY ARE ( Mrs Gump and Reclaimin).

You ain’t got a CLUE dude. Your argument is flawed, not to mention moronic. What on EARTH makes you think that you KNOW about Fashion?

I find YOU foolish and HIGHLY OFFENSIVE. Let us, for one moment go along with your view that “this kind of random and abstract dresscoding…has always been a trend of the European”. How dare you call their garments “dumb coloured” or dumb”?!?!?! Who gave you the right to call this way of dressing “dumb” be it European or not?

My paternal grandmother was English – should she only have worn a tweed skirt suit?
my paternal grandfather was Nigerian – should he only have ever worn traditional Nigerian dress particular to his tribe?
You cannot EVER EVER EVER assign the above look to ONE particular continent and then, when someone of another race wears it accuse them of the of trying to BE “European”. How stupid ARE you?

If my grandmother, a white woman, who lived in Nigeria for YEARS, wore traditional Igbo dress, was she trying to be Nigerian? No, she like what she saw and wore it.
If Kanye wanted to “hide his face” he would have worn a MASK you fool not paid bare bucks to dress from head to toe in a very fashion forward way.

So to summarise : Engage brain before opening mouth. And be aware that you don’t have to DRESS “like a prat” to BE one…you are a PRIME EXAMPLE of THAT.

  60. wow, one night away from the pc and look what i missed, crumbs, lol…

Adaobi – I got basmati rice and curry mutton, plus some Jerk Pork from new cross jerk center, shout out to my peoples in there over the grills, make sure u got them festivals for me, early!

    ok all jokes aside, …

@ Verbs,… I see your comment about the colours and clothes and choices and all this, there has always been a standard, framework yes, and I believe that since the fall of man, this framework has been falling away bit by bit, as man (as a whole, all included) have slowly walked away from the principles and laws of God (the creator) and put up there own laws, …now Pink being a boys colour is a mind set that I believe was set up by MAN and not GOD,

I strongly belive that the colour pink is not viewed the way u view it, in heaven, basically I think God’s View of Pink is different, I will look for some evidence to proof my point.

but I do see what you are saying about the mish mash way of dressing, it coincides with a mish mash lifetsyle, I wear what I want, i think what i want, I live how I want and I have nobody to answer to, I am my own authority… and we see this day in day out…

Man shunning the authority of God and setting up thier own authority, like I said I do see your point,

but I strongly believe that God is more concerned about the condition of mans heart and not mans dress, style etc… even though the style can be a clue to the individuals lifestyle, it’s not always right or fair to just make that assumption. (a pink shirt = wayward living etc)

for example wearing pink is one thing, everyday we come across youngish guys wearing jeans that are seriously for women, stretch jeans and tight ones, now on this issue I think there is something wrong, not looking at individuals but on the whole, when a generation of young men, believes it is trendy to wear jeans that are blantantly suited for women, then yes question what is up with society?

  61. just thinking about it Verbs…

the gate to heaven is made out of one big Pearl, a pearl? wait, those are known to be associated with women and well, imagine seeing a guy walking down the street rocking a pearl necklace, we would think that there is something wholly wrong with the person, without wanting to judge the person, but it would look really out of place.

Now why would the God of heaven, use a pearl to make the gate to heaven out of, he must view pearls differently than we on earth do? we on earth would align pearls to women and the female sex in general, but in heaven, there are most probably angels with sheilds that are made from pearls, warring angels too, aligned to No sex, but still… rocking pearls, I think many elements that we have on earth in existance are viewed differently in heaven, colours, minerals, jewels etc etc… u get my point.

    just a thought.

  62. oh… and Deut 22:5

I believe that was in reference to Cross dressing, a man shouldn’t put on womens clothing,… and yes pink in those day could be considered a females colour aligned by clothing and others to women, but still, isn’t there a new law we live under now, one of grace?

one where the colours a man choices to put on is not as important as the lifestyle he follows?

just thinking about it, u know?

  63. @ the geek…

    EXAAAAAACTLY!

This is why I don’t do religion. I’d rather have a 1 on 1 relationship w/God Himself directly.

Religion is of man, and therefore inherently flawed. My relationship w/my God is perfect.

  64. @ Sundance – “Religion is of man, and therefore inherently flawed. My relationship w/my God is perfect”…

Amen to that !!! I could not agree more. Where you been man lol !!!

Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh, this went too far and got really personal.
    Easy na people !!!

  65. @Mrs Gump

We can hear you loud and clear madam. Since you profess to so much success, shouldn’t you invest in a new keyboard as your cap locks button seems to be shot. Lets deal with these points you raised:

Evolved from what? At the end of the day you still have to work like me and you are still a slave to this system like me. When you do not have to work period and the money is perpetually generating itself and multiplying, then get back to me. Stop working period and see what happens. You employ people, I am employed by people but we are both still shackled regardless of what better luxuries and upgrades you can afford to buy now that you couldn’t before.

You talked about your company being successful and that is good, there is nothing wrong with that, however I suggest you do not boast seeing that with have the clouds of the world’s worst financial crisis looming overhead. There is a possibility that in the future you may have to return to being employed and not being the employer. Banks bigger than you are in serious trouble, do not think you cannot be touched by this depression.

As for working with attractive and talented people, there is nothing wrong with that either but I personally do not admire any man or woman as they are all flesh and fallible. God is no respecter of persons either. Their earthly works mean nothing to him, in fact he counts them aswell as yours as filthy rags before him(Isaiah 64:6). Your works on earth are not the issue, who you’ve worked with is not the issue, how many people you employ is not the issue, how successful your company is, is not the issue. Have you repented of your sins, accepted Christ as you Lord and Saviour, been baptised and walked everyday in his statutes and laws? That is the issue and this will be the only topic of discussion when you stand in front of the great white throne to be judged.

You talked about blacks having brought colourful life into the fashion of the world and directing trends. I don’t disagree with that but do not assume that if everybody is going along with something or takes part in it, that it is right. The problem with many a blacks today is rather than being the trend setters, they are trying to merge and be absorbed into the foolishness that is rife in fashion today. The picture above illustrates this clearly. You seem to think that I have a problem with colours, I have no problem with bright colours as long as long as they are neutral or masculine. Pink is feminine and thus should only be worn by women, period. Also I drop my colours appropriately so they match, not hap hazardly like an ice cream van. This is the real world not Zippo Circus. The same also applies to the type of clothing I wear. Certain clothing is best left on the shelf.

You talked about blacks watering down and curbing their sense of style in order to fit in with the European framework. The above picture illustrates the loco crazy section of the European framework of fashion, it does not illustrate as you put it the innate sense of style that black people are known for. If I didn’t know any better looking at the picture above and not knowing these characters, I would have thought that they were actors on a set or performers in theatre.

Again, you keep rattling on as if I have a problem with colours…..no, again as long as the colours are appropriately laid out, masculine or neutral and the clothing is not outlandishly ridiculous. I have seen some women walk the cat walk wearing absolute foolery for clothing. I hope you are not responsible for that?

  66. @Mrs Gump Continued:

You talked about not being on Kanye’s radar and quite frankly I don’t give 2 hoots about Kanye and his radar, in fact from clips and pictures I have seen of Kanye, his radar seems to be broken as he seems to have trouble navigating himself thesedays. That also seems the be the consensus here, that he has lost his marbles. Why would I follow him? Unlike you I do not hold celebrities, stars, rappers etc in admiration, as I stated before they are all mortal flesh and not super human or some other deity to be worshipped or admired. If they have good talent then they get props for their talent, but that is as far as it goes with me I’m afraid. The image I get from the picture is that these guys have just returned from the twilight zone and haven’t clocked that they are back on earth yet.

Lastly, you talked about part of your schedule as if this will perpetually go on. Don’t boast, famous last words madam. Be grateful and thank God for you position. Especially, do not boast against your fellow man. As for education, people need it these days more than ever. My information and my opinion is not forced upon anyone, some will agree, some won’t. You’re a newbie to this scene, I have held extreme positions from the very first day that I began to write responses to Janice’s articles when they were on myspace….and I haven’t wavered, and I won’t waver especially on things that are clearly wrong. The world may have rubbed out the standard line but I haven’t.

By the way, I was on standby at work yesterday, hence the reason why I was able to deal with the many comments that came flooding in.

As for you last rant, unbelievable. I seem to remember Christ talking about it being of no profit to gain the whole world but in the end lose your soul. Your life is a vapour, you came into it naked and you aren’t taking your riches with you when you pass away. 33 you said, what say 47 years left for you and you will pass into insignificance just like myself and everyone else who is reading this blog. Boast not woman. There is one equalizer of all mankind regardless of success…..DEATH…..and none shall escape, not even you Mrs Gump.

    Adios Senora

  67. @Rachie

I not even going to waste my breath with you, you can join your 2 co horts in the corner by all means but you are still in the minority corner. It seems that everyone is entitled to their opinion…..except when their opinion does not fit in with the status quo.

As for knowing fashion, you don’t have to know fashion inside out to figure what goes and what doesn’t. There is another ability that human beings have that apparently you don’t , it is called PERCEPTION. I can perceive that if I and an 18 wheeler go head to head that I will come out the worst, I do not have to conduct an experiment to find out.

As for finding me offensive, good. I don’t preach for claps here nor do I look for admiration from men. I will tell it as it is, period. That is the way it has always been with me and that it the way it is staying. All opinions are welcome here, even ones that are extreme.

  68. NO , I’M NOT GONNA CONTINUE AND SORRY FOR THE 3 COMMENTS BACK TO BACK, BROADBAND ERROR MADE ME UPLOAD THE COMMENTS COS I THOUGHT THEY HADN’T COME UP….SORRY ALL

  69. @Fr…

But lets just check it out for a second Fr. Women have always gravitated toward softer colours(yellow, cream, white, pink, lilac etc) and men have always been drawn to stronger colours(blue, grey, black, brown, green etc), these are not just the laws of nature but also depict the characters of both sexes, generally the man being physical and agressive(not in a bad way but just forward and logically minded) and the woman being softer, gentle and more geared towards emotion. It is for this very reason that pink has established itself with the woman and not the man and why men shouldn’t touch it.

There as always is also a spiritual side to this aswell. If you put on the attributes associated with women as a man, you also take on a feminine spirit. A live example can be seen today in the fact that men do not behave like men anymore, more behave like softies and act like women. I have seen the transition. I’ve talked to single black women who have said that they are struggling to find a man who is a MAN. Could it possibly be that the man letting his guard down and associated himself with feminine attributes could be part cause of this new phase?

I would have to disagree with you on how pink would be viewed in heaven. Sure God made all the colour but it clearly states in Roman 1: 19-20 that from the laws of the earth and how they work, we can understand the basics about God and how things work in heaven. Even 1 Corinthians 11:14 says that even nature itself can teach us certain things.

Well I have to say that I can see a clear link between men starting to adorn the colours that have long been associated with women and the fading strong male being replaced by mice men who run scared at a leaf falling from a tree, who cannot assert their masculinity, who can no longer communicate with women, who walk with a suspicious gate, who act feminine and begin to sound like women in their speech, who get emotional very easily. Can you not see a link here?

The problem with men wearing pink is it is just another stepping stone in the devolution of the strong male and the evolution of mouse male. But it just doesn’t stop there, the opposite is being done to women, walking in mannerisms which are associated with men, heck I’m even seeing girl sagging trousers and jogging bottoms. Women are now more aggressive and hardy in comparison to the soft and caring nature they held before in times past.

I’m glad to see that at least you can see that due to slackened standards and corrupted frameworks that man has slid downhill to a worse state. It seems some on here are too prideful to admit that. Why is all this happening, because the lines have been mudded and as a result women are being systematically changed into men and with the men vise versa.
Even Jeremiah 31:22 testifies of this. Isaiah 3:16 even describes to a T the behaviour of women today, particularly many black women. In fact this scripture is dealing with the black woman. The daughters of zion is directly referring to the women of Negriod stock.

The gates of heaven made out of a pearls???? What scripture is that?

As for the sex of angels, when they are mentioned in scripture, they are always males. See, yet again framework showing us that it is the male who is to take charge in the family home, the male who is to compass the female and protect her and the male who is to be the final authority. Read through the scriptures, apart from Deborah all the Saviours of Israel were males. All the assignments given were given to males, the bible shows us the basic framework that will work the best way without restriction and static on earth.

Read 1 Corinthians 11:3…….then look at the world today. Is it any wonder that we are in such a mess. I’m not bashing women at all, but God put the man up as the head for many good reasons, one of them being that he is aggressive and offensive in dealing with matters.

Yes Deut 22:5 is in reference to cross dressing…. and anything associated with the opposite sex including colours. Even 1 Corinthian 6:9 confirms that the effeminate will not inherit the kingdom of God. You also mention the fact that we are now under grace which is true but grace has released us from the ordinance parts of the law, the moral laws still stand and men not wearing anything pertaining to a woman is part of the moral law.

So yes a man can wear pink if he wants to but let us not be fooled to think that it is just a physical act, there are spiritual consequences for taking on attributes associated with the woman.

  70. @ Verbs: Yes, you ARE entitled to an opinion albeit farcical, but if u aint “preaching for claps” dnt get uppity and all defensive when someone challenges it because it offends them.

The way you preach is as though YOUR opinion is THE only one and therefore correct…guesss what? No it’s not. Kanye and co are not trying to “BE” European by dressing like that. You’ve got it wrong, accept it and humble yourself….you seem to know how to quote Scripture that supports your twisted view (as the geek shot down in flames, well dun) but skip the parts which tell you that “God does not show favoritism” – Acts 10:34, (New International Version) so the above look does not contravene Scripture.
    Further reading for your perusal:

Ps 25:9 – “He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way”.
You ain’t humble dude, so you aint been sufficiently guided in what is right to be quoting Scripture.

PRO 3:34 “He mocks proud mockers but gives grace to the humble.” By your comments, you show that you are anything BUT gracious so you have not been given the Grace of God.

PRO 10:8 “The wise in heart accept commands, but a chattering fool comes to ruin.” Take heed now, before you close the coffin lying in the grave you’re digging yourself every time you reply with more foolishness.

If as you say “Deut 22:5 is in reference to cross dressing…. and anything associated with the opposite sex including colours” and the colours you associate with women are “yellow, cream, white, pink, lilac” why is God himself decribe as wearing white clothes then?

Dan 7: 9 “As I looked, “thrones were set in place, and the Ancient of Days took his seat. His clothing was as white as snow; the hair of his head was white like wool. His throne was flaming with fire, and its wheels were all ablaze.”
Are you saying that God himself , who is referred to as male, is guilty of dressing effeminately?

Stop holding Scripture up as a shield and be man enough to state your opinion, take the flak and stop trying to convert others to your way of thinking.
Just out of curiosity : If you weren’t looking to waste your breath on me then why would you send a 3 paragraph reply?

Still think I am the one lackign perception?

  71. @Rachie

Why are you still arguing? As stated before, the picture was brought up to show how ridiculously these guys were dressed, this has been the understanding and the MAJORITY consensus, so again you are still in the minority camp.

Look sir, the debate is finished, closed, many a people have made their points, many issues have been raised and many a topics have been hashed out. It got tense at times but none the less the debate was good and thought provoking. You’ve come in too late sir, the fire has gone out, you should have made your points earlier on. This topic has been exhausted, it is done.

AS for you New International Version piece of filth bible which I would touch with a barge poll, I suggest you take the following test below and attempt to fill in the blanks…………if you can.

THE DEBATE ON THIS TOPIC IS OVER SIR!!!!!!!

  72. You all are crazy.

How did a discussion about Kanye, et. al. turn into a religious discussion?

    LOL

I don’t think God could care less about what colors people wear.

    Seriously.

That people can claim that a person’s color choice is somehow contributing to the decline of western civ is utterly ridiculous.

    Seriously?

If such were the case, then why is it that in nature (pretty much universally, actually) male creatures are usually given bright, feminine colors and such to display and show off to attract female mates? As far as science knows, primates and dolphins are the only other animals besides man that engage in sex for pleasure. All the others do it solely to procreate…

Again–this is why I don’t do religion. It is created by man, man is flawed, therefore anything he touches is flawed (even imperceptibly, when compared to the awesome perfection of God/Allah/Yahweh/whatever-you-call-the-God-we-all-pray-to)! Most of you read the King James version of the bible. That was created to satisfy one man’s view of the world @ the time he lived in, and has been adopted as the defacto standard over the years.

    No thankyouverymuch.

I’ll continue to talk directly to God and rock pink!
    By the

  73. PS: By the way, the debate isn’t closed when one person says it is. That’s the great thing about (reasoned, intelligent, non-ALL CAPS! lol) discussion. It elevates the thought process of all involved, and by its very nature MUST continue in order to progress us as a species.

  74. @Verbs I’ll watch that vid if you accept that your opinion is not always the right one.
Look the same scriptures up in your Bible and stop quoting scripture to try and support your opinion on fashion cos it aint gonna work.

  75. @ lati (and, by extension, Verbs)

That’s fine! One should stand by one’s convictions.

But to foster those beliefs onto others who are of other opinions and then deem them somehow flawed is wrong…it’s like saying “it’s my way or the highway” when it comes to something uber subjective (religion, societal beliefs, individual ways of thinking, etc). There are waaaaaaaaaaay too many people on this planet for us all to see things exactly the same.

Otherwise, we’d all be angels or robots or something.

At any rate, I think this discussion is good, and should continue.

Props to Jan for sparking moore fyah!!!!

    LOL

  76. PS: Add styles of dress and color choices to my list in parenthesis above…LOL

I rock pink, I’m straight, and have an excellent 1-on-1 relationship w/God.

Exception to Verbs’ ‘rule’? Perhaps. But the very fact that said exception exist speaks volumes to just how wrong he is.

  77. @ Verbs…

I can def’ see and understand this issue with men not being men, I’m not sure how much of a part wearing pink has played, but I do believe that man is somewhat lost, not all men, but a lot of men, not knowing the purpose of man, mans role in the home, as father, husband etc.

As for men acting and behaving or at least responding in certain ways that women do, this can happen because of different reasons, I was thinking about young boys growing up in a home with no male role model, so they watch their mother and handle situations according to how their mother would, leading them to behave as a women would and not as a man would when faced with certain situations that life throws at us on a daily basis.

Does this mean that those boys who become men have a femine spirit attached to them? (pls note, I’m not trying to score points in a petty debate, but seriously asking your opinion in this type of case/situation.)

Roms 1:19-20… I read this as being proof that there is a God, how can we look at all that has been created and not see that there must be a creator, I do believe that there are some clues to Gods principles, within nature, but I’m not sure much I read into that. It is very easy to read into too much and become slightly disillusioned by things that are not as important as other teachings.

1 Cor 11:14… This I found to be very interesting, and almost immediately thought it can’t be taking at face value, the more I read other translations, I wasn’t sure, how can it be taken? But if this is to be taken in its entirety, then why don’t we see much of this teaching, it’s hardly spoken off, men with long hair, loads of male believers have long hair, I read what comes after the scripture what is before to see it in it’s context and was a little more intrigued… I believe that this passage and most of the book is directed at the church of Corinth, this we both know… there they had many issues and struggled with division and what not, so Paul wrote directly to them, but I believe that all scripture is relevant today, I don’t believe that there is any scripture that cannot benefit us today, but what I am wondering is how does this scripture fit into todays society, how is it to be understood.

I’m an not one to think that scripture changes over time, depending on the current society / lifestyles or ways of living, that’s nonsense, what I’m saying is there must be a single understanding from the scriptures, this one I am yet to be convinced of. 😉 For example if it is a disgrace for men to have long hair, why would God instruct Samson (or his parents) to grow his hair? This sort of thinking leads me to believe that there must be another understanding than the one that presents itself when first read.

Oh the Pearly gates lol… Rev 21:21

1 Cor 11:3… I agree and have no lack of understanding with this scripture though many in the past have, our older generations… “oman (woman in broken English) where me food dey?” not cool..lol

Again with 1 Cor 11:14 comes this unwillingness to accept the scripture as it reads, understand I mean as in, does the word head mean something else, like a different translation from Hebrew to Greek, sometimes words appear to mean one thing but when u look at the origin of the word and the sentence in context and inline with the culture of people being spoken about, to etc… there is sometimes a different meaning, I say this because again we don’t see much of this is churches now, women covering there heads, I thought it was something traditional, old fashioned, found in religion and not relationship, but then it’s in the scriptures for all to see?? Hum…

  78. @ sundance, i know and have said that to him, religion or xtianity is a belief and one either believes or they do not, period. But Verbs will not give up. Keep trying though and good luck.

  79. I’m not trying to convince Verbs of anything…in fact, I totally appreciate and respect his stance, even though I think it’s not 100% correct.

If anything, the only problem I have is not necessarily w/what he’s saying, but HOW he’s saying it.

The whole “I’m-right-you’re-wrong-cause-my-bible-tells-me-so” argument doesn’t hold much water.

I’m not anti-religion. Far from it! It’s more often than not a force for good; it brings structure and reason to spirituality, which is ALWAYS a good thing. I’m just saying that it’s not perfect, and should NEVER be taken as such. That’s when you tread into dangerous territory (The Inquisition, radical Jihadism, etc.) In fact, my daughter attends a Christian school, which I love!

Anyway, I think that the cats in the pic WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY up there (nuff posts, Jan!) are all dressed ok w/the exception of Leopard Print Man.

You are right about other factors contributing to men not being men anymore which is why I stated that adorning things pertaining to women is one of the causes of this, including feminine colours. To list all the factors that have womanized men and to illustrate what part each of them has played would take an entire book.

The problem I see with the pink issue is that it is just another slide down the ladder of slackness and no standards. My friend just told me today that MTV have lauched a new energy drink called “Pussy”. I couldn’t believe it at first but I am not surprised with a world that has slumped to an all time low. This is what I’m talking about, a continuous slide down the ladder, what next, pedos can have sex with children? I can see where this is going and I’m sure you can aswell. There are just some things men ought not to do and wearing pink is one of them.

As for Romans, you can read after the 20th verse and see what happens when a people reject God’s authority……….and then observe the world we live in. Look familiar? It just seems that people are taking on board barbarism and animalistic behaviours and justifying it as being free and independent.

In relation to 1 Cor 11:14, Paul did go on to relate it to other things but in this day and age we have to be wise and think things through properly. It would seem that we live in a world that jumps before it looks.

Christ stated that the majority of the people of the world choose the broadway way and end up in hell. Am I then wrong for thinging long term, being narrow minded in order to preserve the longevity of my life?

All the backlash I got here was according to scripture, the fact that people prefer to be lied to and hate the truth, the fact that people would gather around them people who speak to them smooth words and deceit and do not reprove and rebike to exhalt righteousness and justice.

Interesting enough if you go to the original blog where this picture was taken from ,the majority opinion over there was the same as mine, that these guys were dressed up like clowns, some even went as far as to say that they looked gay, check it out when you get the chance.

  81. @ verbs,” All the backlash I got here was according to scripture, the fact that people prefer to be lied to and hate the truth, the fact that people would gather around them people who speak to them smooth words and deceit and do not reprove and rebike to exhalt righteousness and justice.”
But verbs, there’s a lot of controversy surrounding religion or xtianity whatever you may choose to call it. And everyone worships their lord or not in different ways. So, when you keep quoting the bible which itself is very controversial, there’s always room for doubt. There are a lot of interpretations to the scriptures and people will interpret them according to how they live their lives and how useful they are. There’s nothing like deceit or truth. My belief is, the Bible was written by man, who is human and how do we know under what circumstances the scriptures were written in those times? I am going to church on sunday Verbs, i do not feel like being blasphemus. May be after sunday, we can go on.

  82. @ Sundance

As I stated before I’m not down with religion either, neither is Christ. The equation is simple for me. I look at what God has told us not to do, then I observe people who have decided to stick 2 fingers up at God and his word and not only do their own thing but do what God’s word says not to.

Then I observe the mess they get into as a result of their rebellion. Then I observe them act wrong and strong and they become too prideful to admit that something is wrong. Then I observe them get deeper into peril to the point of danger. Then some die. Shouldn’t I logically conclude then that God’s word was right all along about the consequences of doing stuff I ought not?

I said it before, the problem with this world is the majority of people are in denial, they just won’t admit that the world has serious problems, they just want to continuously play and slip into fantasy land assuming that so called “experts” are dealing with the world’s problems. They are quite content to be lied to and to be told that everything is fine, there is nothing to worry about. I cannot live like that, if I see problems I have to speak up. This stiff upper lip business of the UK I have discarded on the side of the road. The world has serious problems and we the people need to deal with them.

  83. Verbs, could it not be a teacher, a parent, a sister, brother, aunt, uncle, friend, etc… advising you on not to do something and then sticking 2 fingers at them and ending up in the same situation( a mess)?

  84. @Lati

I hear what you are saying about Christianity being a bone of contention and the scriptures being abused but here has been the problem. Man was supposed to read the word of God, and then filter doctrines that came from other men through the word of God to test their authenticity. However man being man has superimposed man’s opinion and interpretation of the scriptures on the bible without having read it for himself. Not only that, he has exhalted men rather than God(worshipping the creature rather than the creator) and so has opened himself up to abuse. People just don’t read as much in general thesedays except if it is the Sun or one of the many other propaganda newspapers being peddled.

Are we surprised then that evil men were able to come along, call themselves christians and rape woman, bugger children, kill men and pillage villages and entire areas? Note that when Peter walked on the water that he was cool until his focus came of Christ and turned to the tempestuous waves and that’s when he began to sink. This world is in exactly the same predicament but with this generation it seems that they want to drown. I’m just trying to pull out those who want to be saved by warning them and showing them what is happening and what is coming. Regretfully the majority will sink and a very small few will be saved.

  85. @Lati

I agree Lati but the principle of the advise that they would give you would be founded on a biblical base, even if the base was x amount of feet below. Good advise is always founded on God’s word because the bible states that God is good.

I’m not forcing my opinion on anyone but I call out wrong when I see it and commend right when I see it. I cannot stand by a man who is wearing women’s trousers in the form of Leopard attire and praise him. The problem with this world is it has gone silent on issues that it ought not to have. Nobody has the bottle anymore to not only speak their mind and stand for truth, but to rebuke lies and those propagating them.
