Take That

Robbie Williams

This FOOL spent the best part of a decade bad mouthing his former band members and laughing at their misfortunes, after his solo career took off in to the stratosphere.

But it all went sour didn’t it Robbie in 04/05 when you released that “Hip Hop” inspired mess ‘Rude Box’, and things went down hill from there. You should have stayed in your lane luv, which is Rock/Pop.

I bet EMI still shuddar and regret the day they paid you 80 million to produce four albums back in 2002

Oh well…….

Robbie Williams has admitted that he would like to team up with his former band Take That again.

The singer praised the four-piece’s new album on his Inner Sanctum blog and wrote that he would like perform with them in the future.

He added: “I’m really, really proud. I love the new album too – haven’t stopped listening to it.

“I’d love to be in the band again but I’ve got some unfinished business of my own.”

His comments come after frontman Gary Barlow recently told Newsbeat that the band were all in contact again and that they would one day reunite.

Of the band’s meeting in the summer, Williams wrote: “The thing that struck me the most was how much fun they’re having.

“We got together quite a lot over the summer. It was amazing. We’ve all matured a lot since we parted.

“I’m very pleased to say the differences we’ve had have just melted away.

“I celebrated by getting the Take That symbol tattooed on my right arm. I’m proud to know the boys and I’m proud to have been in the band.”

The four-piece’s new album The Circus is the fastest-selling LP of the year so far.

The band also sold around 600,000 tickets for their 2009 summer tour in under five hours, breaking the record set by Michael Jackson’s Bad tour in 1987.

Williams left the band a month before their last British concert at London’s Earls Court on Aug 31, 1995 to launch a successful solo career.

You’ve got a nerve Robbie… lol….smh……

Now that your career’s more or less in the toilet and Take That are back on top, bigger and better than ever, you suddenly want to reunite …smh….

“I’m proud to know the boys and I’m proud to have been in the band.”

Err… that’s not what you were saying  4/5 years ago!!!

Gary Barlow along with the others, shouldn’t even bother to entertain the idea of him rejoining the group! They don’t need him.

They should all tell him to p**s off back to rehab in sunny Los Angeles.

I wasn’t a Take That fan back in the day, but I now love their new music and love the fact that they came back so strong and proved the naysayers wrong (you in particular Robbie).

  1. This should be interesting to watch and see the outcome, I was going to point out that they have all been in contact, and caught up over the summer, like old freinds putting their differences aside and just reconnecting, (I imagine, according to robbies words and gary barlows on some next source??) but if that is the case, then why has he waited until they have succeeded (chart success, ticket sales etc) in making a come back, before stating his desire to rejoin the group, why not state that when he was having fun with them over summer??? once he realised that all have matured and are willing to put difference aside,

    hummm suspect…

I Think the whole break up, robbie williams solo cacreer and now take thats come back and possible reuniting with RW, has all been a scam by the machines to make more money!!!!

    I ain’t buying it LOL!

  2. I agree with everything you’ve just said Janice – they should tell him to g’waay (go away). I’ll never forget that reunion documentary a couple of years back when Robbie failed to show up. He came across as a cocky little shit, I felt so embarassed for the rest of the guys. Now look who’s having the last laugh!

Like you, I wasn’t a fan back in the day, but their new stuff is great! Love ‘Rule The World’, ‘Patience’, and there’s that other one which escapes me right now, lol.

  3. I rememeber watching the documentary and thinking he was cocky too.
He was behaving as if it was all beneath him.

But I also remember thinking that even though Gary, Owen, Jason and Howard had been out of the spot light for a number of years, and Owen and Gary’s solo careers failed to really take off, they all seemed really happy and content. Some had children, wives, girlfriends etc, while Robbie, the big success story etc, just looked sad/lonely.

  4. @FR

If their come back had flopped, and Robbie was still riding high in th charts, he would still be bad mouthing them.

I hope they just forget about reuniting with Robbie. They don’t need him! But it’s hilarious now because it looks as if he DESPERATELY needs them lol.

  5. it does look like that janice, even though I like seeing people get what they deserve, face it, we all do 🙂 lol

I would like to see them all unite again and do it big, not sure it will happen though.

  6. I agree with what y’all are saying, plus i was actually a fan of theirs, the whole homoerotic version of NKOTB, hey I was a young Nigerian watching oyinbo music. But remember, they kicked Robbie’s ass outta the group, so he kinda has a right to be prissy, plus he was always kinda sad even when he was in Take That, the whole weight gain, the abortion of his unborn child (apparently ordered by All Saints’ record label), plus some other random stuff……. i read too much trivia.
Oh well, he should have been nicer.
