The mansion at the center of a legal battle between rapper 50 Cent and his ex-girlfriend was burnt to the ground this morning around 5:00 am. According to reports, the Dix Hills, Long Island mansion that housed 50 Cent’s ex, Shaniqua Tompkins and the rapper’s son caught on fire around 5:00 am this morning. Six people that were inside of the mansion at the time of the fire were taken to Huntington Hospital, where they were treated for non-threatening injuries. The $1.4 million dollar six bedroom, five bathroom mansion, was situated on an acre of land before it burned completely to the ground. In April, Tompkins filed a breach of contract lawsuit against the rapper, claiming he was attempting to evict her and his 10-year-old from the mansion unjustly. Police are investigating to determine the cause of the raging blaze, which took firefighters from five different districts to control.  (Source)

The XXL Magazine website is reporting that 50’s ex-girlfriend and mother of his child,  Shaniqua Tompkins (who needs to GO AND LOOK WORK!!!) was in the house at the time, and was also taken to hospital.

Dix Hills fire Department Chief Larry Feld believes that the fire was started deliberately.

Feld said “I would say there is a strong, a strong, strong possibility that it is suspicious”.
