Atlantic Records/Homeschool are really putting the publicity machine behind singer/rapper Estelle and her fouthcoming album ‘Shine’.

She was present at the Grammys, featured on E! News as the next artist to watch out for, and now she’s appeared on TRL. 

And on top of all that Estelle is also getting a lot of love from black bloggers/entertainment sites Stateside.

So, after years of toiling away here in the UK, going nowhere fast, in a country where extremely talented black homegrown talent, continue to be despised, ignored and shoved to one side by the industry, in order to make way for a more acceptable face to front our brand of black music, could it finally be Estelle’s time to shine?  

Has she finally hit the jackpot career wise within a music market that is notoriously hard to crack? Is she  about to live the American dream?
