Its probably true. His last album/singles didn’t do particulary well, so it was to be expected at the end of the day. Plus Warner Music isn’t in a good place right now. The label is losing money hand over fist.
Those label executives don’t have a clue anymore….

They didnt drop him, 679 closed down and merged into Atlantic…they wanted him to join another sub-label but he wanted to be signed diretly to either Warner or Atlantic..

Kano wasn’t dropped by his label….HE dropped his label. He did mainly coz he wanted to be on the road again, if you look at his intervies with MTV. You should listen to his new ulbum 140 Grime Street…..PURE grime at its best, no doubt.
Tanikia… 140 grime street is far from PURE grime. its a waterd down commercial version of grime..
theres a couple ok tracks but theres PLENTY better mixtapes out there
