RAPPER NELLY TO MAKE REALITY SHOW
Via USA Today Nelly has inked a deal to develop a reality television series with A. Smith & Co. Productions, it was announced Wednesday. The show will chronicle “the day-to-day life” of the rapper. “I look forward to showing my fans what my world is about and bringing more attention to my non-profit organizations,” said Nelly, whose real name is Cornell Haynes Jr., in a statement. MTV GREEN LIGHTS NEW DIDDY SCRIPTED “REALITY” SHOW
Entertainment mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has joined forces with Emmy winning producer Mark Burnett to lead the search for the next music superstar on a newly approved MTV reality series. The show, titled StarMaker, was greenlit by the network for January 2009. It will feature a group of aspiring solo artists handpicked by Combs, who will compete against each other for a chance to obtain stardom while living together.
