When I first heard about this collaboration (Kanye’s idea) I looked at a picture of Raekwon taken during the glorious Wu-Tang era and sighed. UK rapper Sway is back with the single Just A Matter O f Time featuring Akon. Okay so I know Sway has never rapped in an American accent, but why does he sound a bit like Young Jeezy on this track? And when did he start mimicking his flow? Other than that I quite like Just A Matter Of Time. Your thoughts please. Hit or Miss?

“Superstar” couple Jay-Z and Beyonce have been photographed having a wail of a time, sunning themselves on a yacht off the French Riviera. Out of all the pictures that have been published this one made me laugh the most. I’m sorry but it just looks like Beyonce’s ‘discreetly’ breaking wind with her bottom cocked out like that. Kanye West’s Power remix featuring Jay-Z and Swizz Beatz dropped online today folks! Jay and Kanye sound okay but I don’t know what Swizz Beatz thought he was doing towards the end. Sampling the 1992 Snap hit I Got The Power was far from a good idea Swizz. It just sounds out of place and spoils the remix. I’m surprised Kanye agreed to keep Swizz’s lame contribution in. The “big dawg” Tim Westwood has claimed via Twitter that producers from ITV1 show Dancing On Ice have offered him £50K to appear on next years show as one of the ‘celebrity’ contestants. As expected most of Tim’s followers have encouraged him to join next years line up, I’m guessing for their own amusement. Apologies for the slow updates. Virgin Media Broadband – MAJOR FAIL right now! Anyway check out “Peckham’s finest” Giggs’ new single Hustle On. The video also features actor/ part-time “Reggae/Dancehall artist” Idris Elba (lol). The track – Same old Giggs but I like the beat. The video – shots of a council estate, Giggs, his crew, and Idris driving Giggs around London. Yes a lot of thought went in to the making of this video. Your thoughts please? Hit or Miss?

Hard Way is the first video taken from Stylah’s forthcoming album ‘Treading Water‘ produced by Show N Prove! Why do Hip Hop producers in the country still insist on speeding up singing vocals on tracks? The year is 2010 not 2004!
