While my fellow bloggers/journalists sipped champagne and wolfed down West Indian cuisine at the MOBO (Music of Black Origin) Awards nominations launch party, held this year at London’s Mayfair Hotel, I was lying in the dentist’s chair having a tooth extracted! GLASGOW TO HOST 2009 MOBO AWARDS

The Mobo (Music of Black Origin) Awards will host it’s annual event in Glasgow, Scotland this year.  Up until now the MOBO Awards has always been hosted in London.
