UK rapper Sway teams up with Akon on his new single ‘Silver & Gold’, which is about a cold, manipulative, money hungry stripper. I admit ‘Silver & Gold is (kind of) catchy (well the hook is) but it’s strange hearing Sway rap on a track of this nature, and watching him attempt to look suave and sexy in the middle of a nightclub surrounded by attractive women. AKON SIGNS UK RAPPER SWAY

READ This has been on the cards for about a year and a half now. I guess now it’s “official”. Well… this will be interesting. Actually this union could prove to be a successful one for Sway. He’s a grafter and will make it work. Unlike some UK artists I could mention (ahem.. ahem.. Wiley), who sign to majors/their subsidiaries and then head for the hills when it suddenly dawns on them that they will be expected to WORK!!!!
