DRAKE DONATES $25K TO HELP BUILD A LEARNING CENTRE IN JAMAICA

Source The manager of Reggae artist Mavado has revealed that singer/rapper Drake has donated (US) $25,000 (JA$2.15 million) to help Mavado build a Learning Centre in his hometown, Cassava Piece (Kingston).  Click HERE to read more. SUSPECTED DRUG LORD’S DISGUISE WHILE ON THE RUN

It was reported earlier this week that Jamaican police had arrested suspected  drug lord turned fugitive Christopher ‘Dudus’ Coke. REGGAE SINGER LUCIANO CHARGED WITH HARBOURING A FUGITIVE

Via BBC News Reggae singer Luciano has been charged with harbouring a fugitive who shot and wounded three police officers, Jamaican police have said. Police Superintendent McArthur Sutherland said the 44-year-old – real name Jepther McClymont – was charged and released after posting bail. The stand-off last week ended with the fugitive gunman, Andrew Senior, being  killed at Luciano’s home in Kingston. Two of the injured officers are still being treated in hospital. Oh dear….smh….

Jamaica’s Usain Bolt added the 200m crown to his Olympic 100m title in an incredible new world record time of 19.30 seconds in Beijing.
