British actor Aml Ameen, a former star of ITV’s The Bill and acclaimed Brit urban flick Kidulthood, has been cast as one of the leads in a hot new Hollywood legal drama. Kindreds is produced by multiple Emmy award-winning producer David E Kelley (L.A Law, Ally McBeal, The Practice, Chicago Hope) and, as cited in the L.A Times this week, ‘follows a curmudgeonly ex-patent lawyer and his group of misfit associates’.
