Check Dionne Bromfield’s new single Ouch featuring rapper Mz Bratt, taken from up and coming “urban” horror flick Demons Never Die soundtrack. [Thanks Noir] …. I like Dionne, she’s a strong vocalist and the song isn’t bad. However the song could have done without the bars. Nothing against Mz Bratt but I have said it before and I will say it again not every UK “Urban” song needs to feature a rapper. It’s just not necessary. Your thoughts please. Hit or Miss?

Dionne Bromfield and Tinchy Stryder, have teamed up to record an official Olympic Torch Relay song ”Spinnin’ For 2012”. 13 year old Dionne Bromfield sang live last night on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ with her “godmother” Amy Winehouse singing backing vocals. Obviously Dionne’s connection to Amy has opened many doors for her ( hanging out in nightclubs with Amy, signed to a major label, appearing on Strictly etc), but the girl can sing. I was impressed.
