UK NEWS: GOLDIE TEAMS UP WITH PRINCE HARRY IN NATIONWIDE SEARCH FOR MUSICAL TALENT

Via BBC News Drum ‘n’ bass star Goldie has teamed up with Prince Harry to help organise a concert featuring 12 young musicians chosen after a nationwide search. BBC Two series Goldie’s Band – By Royal Appointment will follow Goldie as he searches the UK for 17 to 24-year-olds with “raw musical talent”. The musicians will then be mentored by artists including former Robbie Williams songwriter Guy Chambers. The series will end with a Buckingham Palace gig in front of Prince Harry. […]

Nas and Damain Marley performed together at The Hammersmith Apollo on Tuesday night and from what I hear blew the audience away. The show was apparently that good! Britain’s most famous waste woman, Amy Winehouse could be seen (and was photographed) at the side of the stage acting and looking like a cracked out fool. The 1xtra live concert took place over the weekend in Sheffield (England) and Mad News was not invited! Can you believe it??? It’s an absolute travesty! I would have given anything to have heard with my own ears, rapper Chipmunk tell a predominately caucasian audience to call him “Munky”.  Ha ha ha! I have to laugh because if I don’t I’ll cry.
