Big changes afoot over at Radio BBC 1 folks! As part of the changes announced yesterday (August 10th)…….. Via The Guardian Tim Westwood is to host the weekday drivetime show on the BBC’s digital radio station 1Xtra. Westwood, who already hosts hip-hop shows on Radio 1 and 1Xtra, will present the 4pm to 7pm weekday show from 28 September. Tim ‘Big Dawg’ Westwood Zane Lowe BBC Radio 1 have been celebrating 30 years of Hip Hop and as part of their salute to the genre that created jobs for many and fed men, women and children, Tim ‘Big Dawg’ Westwood and Zane Lowe  hosted the best in Hip Hop (DJ’s, moguls, artists, producers etc etc), Top 30 countdown.
