For some reason (probably because he’s black), Marvel character Black Panther has never quite gotten his due. UK NEWS: BLACK BRITON TO MAKE NORTH POLE HISTORY

Ex-soldier turned adventurer John Thompson hopes to make history by becoming the first black Briton to reach the North Pole. Thompson, who is from Hackney East London, will set off on his trip this month (April) for charity. The money raised will be donated to Cancer Research.
