While lurking over at The Lala Report I came across old footage of hit 90s R&B girl group Xscape performing on the brilliant BET show Teen Summit (sadly no longer with us). Judging by the fashion and hairstyles I’m guessing that this was filmed in either 1990 or 1991. Check out Kandi Burruss, LaTocha Scott, Tamika Scott, and Tameka “Tiny” Cottle-Harris before they hit the big time, and before rapper T.I turned Tiny fool.

A judge ruled yesterday that Dr Conrad Murray will face a criminal trial for involuntary manslaughter, over the death of Michael Jackson. Judge Michael Pastor said today there is sufficient evidence to warrant a case against Dr Conrad Murray following this week’s preliminary hearing. I didn’t believe this news when I first came across it but Sumit over at The Hip Hop Chronicle UK assures me it’s true. 50 Cent has signed former X-Factor contestant Gamu Nhengu to his G-Note label. Source Singer Toni Braxton will star in the new scripted “reality” show Braxton Family Values, which will air stateside on WE TV in April. UK air date has not been set yet. Toni’s sisters Traci, Tamar, Towanda, Trina and their mother will also appear in the show.
