The surprise of a lifetime was unveiled at Westfield Stratford City as Adidas brought astonished shoppers face to face with global icon David Beckham. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g0OzSpzYe6I&feature=player_embedded#! … The little boy and his mum seem genuine, but the others featured look like they could have been hired by the Adidas marketing team. Some may have even already appeared in the numerous ad campaigns leading up to the Olympics. But hey perhaps I am being far too cynical here….

Unsigned UK artist Infecta has announced via Twitter that he sensationally turned down an offer to sign to rapper Kanye West’s label G.O.O.D Music. The rising star who has so far notched up 2 million YouTube views tweeted: https://twitter.com/Infecta/status/224476934824923136 Check out Infecta below. … I bet this was disappointing news for Kanye. Infecta would have been a great addition to his label. But signing to an artist’s label nearly always ends in tears.

The streaker had “Free Tibet” written on his back and ran a short distance past crowds waiting to see the torch relay beside the River Thames.
