New Friday Hip Hop Report Presenters Vicky N.Hope and Jade Avia were invited to the Magic Streetwear warehouse for a free-for-all shopping spree, to choose outfits for the New UK Show. ……. It looks like Magic Streetwear brought out their left over early-mid noughties stock for the day. The outfits made available to the girls look dated. Erm… did I really just see a velour tracksuit??? Anyway congratulations Vicky and Jade and good luck.

The Voice Newspaper reports that a group of Black British footballers joined the Show Racism The Red Card initiative at the Houses of Parliament recently to lobby MPs, after funding for the anti-fascist organisation recently came to an end. The group included Chelsea’s first black player Paul Canoville, former goalkeeper Shaka Hislop, and Sol Campbell. The saga continues…. It has been reported via the Twitter streets that the newest addition to the Sugababes Jade Ewen has left the troubled group. The Sugababes first hit the music scene back in 1998 with founding members Mutya Buena, Siobhan Donaghy and Keisha Buchanan. Siobhan Donaghy left the group soon after and was replaced by Heidi Range. Beyonce and her mother Tina Knowles launched their House of Dereon collection here in London on Friday and sadly Mad News missed the highly anticipated event. Selfridges and the Knowles’ begged me to attend, they even wanted me to sit front row during the fashion show with rappers Wretch 32, Chipmunk and singer Alexandra Burke (yes they were all in attendance), but I’m sorry I will always stay loyal to the high street. ….. Hmmmm… apart from Beyonce, Solange and Tina who else is going to buy/wear those creations?

Choice FM has announced today that singer/TV presenter Jamelia will co-host the station’s breakfast show for the last two weeks in September (from Monday 19th – 30th) alongside funny man Kojo.
